It's hard to blame a coach for injuries, but it is a fact that the better shape a player is in the less injuries he will have.... Part of the reasons players stayed healthy under Eric was his intense training camp...

Say what you want about Eric, but rarely did players miss time with nicks and bruises like they have under Rex and Herm...

It's not so much the season ending injuries that can be prevented... it's the Cotchery type injury....

Maybe they weren't as well-reported as they are under Rex.

Under Mangini we played a QB for a torn Bicep on his throwing arm and did not list it on the report.

    You post is utter bullshit.

There is no correlation between injuries and coaching staff IMO. It's all just bad luck. Bad luck came in other forms during the Mangini era.

Chad Pennington, Laveranues Coles, Brett Favre, Justin Miller, Kris Jenkins, Jonathan Vilma, David Harris, Kellen Clemens...

ADDED: Kimo, Clarke, Barlow and Clement all stayed pretty healthy. That counts as injuries, right? And don't forget about the unblockable Mr. Robertson.

I would hardly blame horrible leg injuries, especially the type where other players rolled behind the leg and bent them in horribly grotesque ways, on the faults of the trainers or the coaching staff. You have to be kidding me. This is fucking football, not baseball. Shit happens.

I'm making a call to the moderators of this board....please start considering one week suspensions or something like that for the people who start "What if....?" or "Things would be different if _____ were here..." threads. They are completely getting out of hand around here. Sorry, I'm not usually this perturbed. But this is getting ridiculous.

You don't get as many injures when you play like pussies, you also don't get as many wins.

Last year- Favre, Jenkins, Thomas just off the top of my head all had those "Cotchery" type injuries.

Intense training camps are known for wearing players down and causing injuries. People who pay attention to the game know this. Where do you get your info?

Also, as the second poster pointed out, we know that Eric was not exactly forthcoming regarding injuries. You have no idea what was really going on. You think the Pats injuries are all reported? Hell no. Get a clue kid.

2007 we had a decent amount of injuries. Its definitely has nothing to do with Rex's coaching, footballs a tough sport sometimes shit happens unfortuntely for us its our 2 best players on D and Offense.

The two major injuries are an ACL tear and a broken leg. Exactly how does good coaching and conditioning prevent this?
