trivia question on Suggs

    Regarding new RB Lee Suggs--Someone may have already posted this, but didn't the jets used to have a DB named Shaffer Suggs in the late 70s? I'm probably confused on the last name. I seem to recall Shaffer returning a pick against the Vikings for a TD in 1979. Father/son? Any relation? Probably a different last name, but just curious if anyone knew.

    First, very good memory.

    I was looking around and found this tidbit:

    Question: Who was the first player in the history of the N.F.L. to be called for "Roughing the Referee"?

    You know how to rough a ref. After he makes a disputed call you come running up to him and bump him a little too hard......bingo..........flags fly.
