So the Jets have 3, maybe 4 possible players that are on the trade block. They are McCariens, D-Rob, Barton, and just for kicks Vilma.

What compensation are you willing to take to part with each of the players above?

    Here's my opinion:

    McCariens- 4th rounder
    D-Rob- 3rd Rounder
    Barton- 4th rounder
Vilma- I wouldn't trade (but gun to my head, I would need a 1st rounder)

McCareins for a 4th in 2 seconds flat.
D-Rob for a 3rd - no way, give me bottom half of the 1st round or go away.
Barton for a 4th - Only after I find out if Spencer is still there on the 25.
Vilma - Top 15 pick and then only if it looked like Carriker or Branch was going to be there.

Moving McCariens is a no brainer. I keep hearin the CS is down on barton. If this is true then oh well. I wouldn't move D-Rob nor Vilma

McCariens - any pick they'll offer
    D-Rob - 1st Rounder
    Barton - 4th
Vilma - High 1st Rounder (15 or better) or equal value including a first round pick.

The jets would be lucky to get more than a 5th rounder for each barton and mccareins.

Drob could possibly garner a 3rd......

and vilma could get you a low 1/high 2 and maybe a 4 to go with it.

I'm with you..... Both Vilma and Robertson have shown that they can be disruptive dominant players in the right system, and they are both very young. Even if they don't fit our system, the value we'd be giving another team, say a team that runs the Tampa 2, would be incredible. These two players, in the right system, will be more productive than ANYONE you'd be able to pick in the first round outside of the top 5 or 10 picks.

Vilma and 25 to get to number 4.

Vilma and a swap of our 2nd second rounders, to get to 10-15.
(We move up, get pick, and move up in second.)

    McCariens- 5th
    D-Rob- 2nd
    Barton- late 3rd, early 4th
Vilma- I would punch the first GM in the face for uttering the words for me, then it would let the rest of the GMs know whats up, very much prison mentality on this one (if needed a 1st this year and a 1st next year) I do not care if it is unrealistic

DROB IS NOT ON THE TRADING BLOCK!
If anything, its Jmac, Barton and barrett
Im so tired of people thinking that the jets are even considering trading DRob after a pretty good season

The way your go out and shout it, I'd be led to believing that you have some inside knowledge that the rest of us do not.

i'd be happy to get a 4th for McCareins, i'd be happy with a second or early 3rd for d rob, a 4th for barton, and i would need a top ten pick for vilma especially this draft. what if we traded down out of 25, we package McCareins and our 25 to get an early second rounder which i hope we use to pick up blalock, and also get another 3rd rounder out of the deal. any thoughts?

    McCariens- 5th rounder
D-Rob- try and get a 1st out of Herm otherwise you get a 3rd.
Barton- Love the guy but at he's price and age a 4th rounder would be okay but I prefer to keep him.
Vilma- I don't see getting value for him in the draft but I would unload him for an above average player at either RT, CB, Guard or NT.

Sounds about right except I think we could squeeze some more outta d-slob, like an extra 6 or 7 or...a kickoff specialist:rolleyes:

-mccariens for a 4th rounder in a heartbeat

-d-rob for a 3rd? seriously man, put the stem down. late 1st/early 2nd. this guy is definitely worth that to a 4-3 team.

-barton- i wouldnt trade, hes got a few years left on him and he should remain on the roster till someone can be groomed. we have no depth at ILB.

-vilma- i prolly wouldnt trade him either, but it would be pretty easy for a 1st and 3rd. anything else would be hypothetical depending on if we moved up in the draft or acquired a specific player via the trade.

I like Barton, I don't know if the Jets will get anything near his worth for him, must be some other reason they don't want him on the team.

Robertson will not be traded, I haven't even heard anything about him.

Barrett, I don't know, I don't think the Jets can replace him with somebody better immediately either.

McCareins can go I guess, but he showed promise the 2nd half of last season.
