I have three players to fill two spots in this weeks playoffs in a 12 team league. Its between Sammy Morris @ oak Tatum Bell @Car Cadillac @ ATL (with the option to pick up Warrick Dunn and play him instead) I am leaning towards Morris with one spot, but stuck between the other 2. ( Also, I have a choice between Hixon adn Coles in the WR spot, as of now going with Hixon. ANd can replace one of those backs with COLES as well in the flex, but just not confident in him right now) Thoughts?....
how the hell did you make the playoffs in a 12 team league. unless your team has had the injury bug bite them recently, but i cant think of too many major players who would leave you with such bad options.
My money league team might be in a worse position. I'd be thrilled to land Tatum Bell on waivers tonight. That's how rough I have it at the RB position. I did a rare thing this year. I went WR and WR in rounds 1 and 2. I had never done that in 9 years of fantasy football. Then, my 1st RB selection was Laurence Maroney. My 2nd selection was Earnest Graham who also landed on IR, albeit at a later date. I used Jake Delhomme as my QB in 12 of the 14 weeks. Yet, the team is off to the semifinals. Current RBs- Chester Taylor, BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Derrick Ward, Cadillac Williams, Peyton Hillis (to be cut as soon as I'm unlocked), LenDale White, Jerious Norwood. After Andre Johnson and Terrell Owens I only carry one extra WR (Anthony Gonzalez).
Morris and Coles. He'll bounce back from the 1 caqtch game next week. Also NE will be ahead so they will run the ball a lot in garbage time.
I have leron mclain against pitt 2, but overall my team stinks, i had a great start than got hit by injuries with graham, denver rbs, stewart stalled. I expect to lose but I at least want to put my best options forward.
also have tim hightower against minn, but obviously he nor mclain are really options... so basically the last spot is between Dunn, Cadillac, Tatum Bell, and Maurica MOrris off waivers if I want him. I am leaning towards bell because of the amount of touches, but either way, I see first round exit in my future.
