Al Toon was one of my favorite players growing up, his career ended during the dreadful 1992 campaign where we also lost Dennis Byrd to a career ending and life threating injury.

92 was a tough year. I always liked Toon alot, too. A very graceful and gutsy receiver. He was not quiet about the fact that he was very into ballet and it showed on the field.

Because it's ESPN, the giant hype machine.

Al Toon was the best WR I ever saw in a Jets uniform, I'd have to place him above Wesley Walker and Keyshawn Johnson.

He was definitely better than Wesley, key wasn't hgere long enough to be in the discussion. I think all-time it's probably Maynard, Sauer, Toon as the 3 bst we've ever had at WR.
