If Zach and the gang can beat New England it could signal a turn. The Jets in order to grow needs to go through NE. They have had the Jet's number for a couple of decades. Beating them would be monumental and I think they are ready after taking down Buffalo. Not to mention that I hate those chowder heads more than any team in sports. Go Jets!!!!
I understand where you are coming from, but these "statement games or wins" nonsense. How about we make a legit Super Bowl run and really shock the world? That would be a statement. Beating the Patriots will be as satisfying as the Bills and our win against the Dolphins. If we lose every other game after that then it would have meant nothing. I want long term results. I'm happy with the success of our team, but let's continue to let it develop and play out. Week by week my guy.
The only statement the Jets need to make here is to not blow two games to a team whose QB does not scare anyone. The Jet DEF owes the Pats a drubbing. On paper, these two teams are not even close. Just like the Bills game, gotta ride the Jets DEF and take the points.
As long as we don't lose a 2nd game to the Pats by the same score of 22-17. Recall our last playoff chance in 2015 we lost 2 games to the Bills both by the score of 22-17.
The Jets had several statement games in the Sanchez era also. Winning the Super Bowl would be a nice statement.
I think most of the team has already made its statement. Just waiting on what Zach has to say (with his play).
The Jets have a better team. They should make sure to limit all mistakes and simplify our offense. No need to pass deep, just quick boring screen, bootleg, short passes and ground and pound.
Gut renching rumbling in stomach last 2 days awaiting this big game. Anyone else?? Ugh...please let's get this
We'll know fairly early on. First couple of drives are scripted and if we see 9 passes and 3 runs like last game we'll know the CS was not ready to compete in this game.
I want this game so bad, I mean I watch every game wanting it and to win. But not like this one after the way we have been playing and knowing we should of beaten them at home. That JFM play still haunts me when we had a pick 6. I’m anticipating this game like no other boys
Baby steps cause the Jets haven't been world beaters in a long, long, long, long time. Small goals can work miracles for a franchise, the fans and players growth.
