Today He Arrives: 05/18/09 (Sanchex Related Practice Thread)

    Alright guys,

Today is the day. I know we're all a bit anxious to see what the Offense is going to look like today against a Defense who's been getting most of the accolades throughout OTA's.

On a side note, I realize there's probably going to be 20 articles coming out saying the same damn thing, or atleast close to the same damn thing. So, to avoid a huge cluster fuck, let's try to keep all the Sanchez related practice articles within this thread. As well as any reposonses or opinions you guys got. It's a really easy way to get all the information in one easy to read thread.

I'll start with the first of the day...

    Article

Thanks again, and remember; try to keep it all here so we can avoid the double threads about the same article!

PLease dont put it all in one thread, then i have to sift thru pages of posts before finding out if there is a new article.

Eh, true I guess. Just figured I'd try to prevent the crazy amount of double posting the same article on here. I shall change the thread title my friend.

    That isnt true.

The board has this neat feature where there is a blue arrow point down to the left of the post title if there is a message you haven't read.

You click on the little arrow and it brings you to the most recent post you haven't read.

Also, threads with posts you haven't read have their titles bolded. While threads with posts you have read are non-bold.

i think you missed his point. while youre right that he will know if there are new posts to the thread, there is no way of knowing if an actual article has been posted within the thread as opposed to just a new comment...

That's no reason to have a new thread for every new bit of information on a single topic.

Thanks for posting this. I always felt there had to be a way to do this but didn't know how, until now.

A small blurb about practice today. Sanchez staying late to study with Schott. I hope that Sanchez moves in with Schott, so he can ask him questions every second of the day.

Glad to see Marques Murrell staying late. I thought he should have gotten more PT last year.

Mark Sanchez while he did look like a rookie.....he did not throw a pick so thats something positive seeing as the defense was able to rattle kellen into a pick but not sanchez
i cant post the link cuz i havent made enough posts so imma just copy n paste

    Rookies in practice
    May
18 Mark Sanchez didn’t throw a pick in today’s practice, but Sanchez, Shonn Greene and the other rookies in Monday’s OTA did look like… Rookies. Several players, including Jay Feely via his Twitter account, said the defense ruled again and that the rookies looked pretty raw. They haven’t had a lot of time to study the playbook, but for now starting jobs looked safe.

There's still a long way to go. I still expect Clemens to start on opening day, but Sanchez and Greene will not look at all like they do today by Opening Day.

I just really hope that Sanchez studies his playbook every second of every day for the next year. With hiw quick release, I think that he'd be a monster to deal with having the knowledge of 80% of the playbook at the line of scrimmage. Being able to call audibles on the fly.I have so much hope for Sanchez. I can't wait till media day on Thursday to get the real nitty gritty.

I get the feeling that is exactly what he is doing. We've drafted a real professional
