    Hi all,

I'm pretty indecisive when it comes to buying sports memorabilia for myself...it's like being a kid in a candy store for me. Maybe you can help me make a decision.

My promotion finally got approved at work..thus making my wallet slightly "bigger"...so i've decided to invest about 150 bucks or so in a Jets jersey. I just can't decide who to go with. All suggestions welcome. Thanks everybody.

    poll forthcoming

Wait until they re-sign Leon Washington, then go grab a 29 jersey...unless you are one of those fans who put a hex on a player once they get their jersey. If that's the case, buy a Pennington jersey or something, I'm sure you can get one pretty cheap, ha ha.

I thought about him....but i left Leon and Lito Sheppard off the list...because Leon isn't signed longterm yet...and Lito is essentially on a 1 year deal.

Im buying Revis and Keller. Since I need 2 more.. to make it 10.. I wear a different Jersey to each game since Chrebet retired.
I let my gf wear them to the games but she always wears Leon.

    I have:
    Gholston
    Jenkins
    Washington
    Byran Thomas
    Cotchery
    Jones
    Harris
    Rhodes

    I retired:
    Farve
    Coles
    Chrebet
    Martin
    Vinny
    Moss
    Pennington
    J Abe.

I've always said that one day I'd like to own the good ol' #13 - Don Maynard authentic jersey. I think this year might the year.

A must-have is an Emerson Boozer jersey. Those always look sweet. If you want to go the conservative route, go with Namath. Pretty boring suggestions.

Whichever you choose, make sure you research the player and have their history down correctly. Don't be a douche and be that guy who spent the money to get an AUTHENTIC jersey of a player, and know nothing about them. I hate those turds.

This is a good question. I don't know which way to go either.

Revis and Jenkins are great options. 2009 first round pick? No way. 2008 first round pick made me realize buying first round pick jerseys not a good idea. Bart Scott? Nah, he hasn't played a down yet. Calvin Pace is a good option. Nick Mangold and Dustin Keller too. I went with Keller in the poll, he has a bright future.

You and I are cut from the same cloth.

The thought of buying a throwback crossed my mind...but since the Jets are moving forward with a new HC and frame of mind (hopefully)...I figured i'd buy a current player jersey that's signed long term.

Oh and rmagedon...thanks for not listing what's in your wardrobe...and submitting ACTUAL suggestions...I appreciate it

You could never go wrong with a throw back jersey. Namath,Maynard,Klecko etc these guys are JETS retired and will always be JETS.

If you have made up your mind and want a current player id go with a #57......im presuming Bart Scott being they just inked him to a long-term deal. Another choice would be #25 Rhodes #24 Revis.

I have Vinny, Martin, Namath, Chad, Favre, Keyshawn, D Brick. I am thinking about getting Leon & if they drafted Moreno I would get it in a heart beat he is a local kid.

Of those listed, I really don't think you can go wrong with Revis. As of this moment, I don't think it's a stretch to say that he's our best player. He's also extremely young and I remember some praising comments from Ryan, meaning that in a year or two, I could see him locked up to a huge contract extension to remain a Jet through to his 30's.

I love my Rhodes jersey. If I make enough money this summer, I might have to buy me a Revis jersey as well.
