    Ouch, that is really harsh but if it'll stop the bad rep that NFL players get, I agree 100% with it. I'd prefer a scale like this though:

    1st offense: Fine and possible suspension depending on level of offense
    2nd: 4 game suspension and fine
    3rd: 16 game suspension and fine of at least $100,000
    4th: Ban from the game

    yea that's pretty strick, but you gotta lay down the law, things are getting out of hand quickly

    What if they plead no contest? What if they are arrested and never convicted?

    What if they are convicted of some stupid misdeameanor like violating a city ordinance by driving their 15 y/o kid after a curfew or some other stupid crap?

    How will this 'neat' little baseball analogy policy work then?
