QB: B- Analysis: It was a very tough situation for Geno today. He came in cold and wasn't helped out by the defense or running game, but the guy just doesn't look comfortable playing the QB position. The biggest difference between he and Fitzpatrick is pocket presence. Fitz does a great job stepping up in the pocket while Geno is constantly either throwing off his back foot or rolling out to the right. On a positive note he did a pretty good job of protecting the football. HB: F Ivory looks hurt (doesn't this happen every year?) and has no burst. Zac Stacy is even worse. Wouldn't be surprised to see Powell and Ridley take over on depth chart by years end WR: C- Marshall and Decker are warriors but they are not going to make it through this season with the amount of targets they are getting. Marshall had 18 targets today which is absurd. This team really misses Jace Amaro and Kerley continues to be under utilized by the coaching staff TE: B Cumberland invisible in the passing game but Kellen Davis actually had a good game scoring a TD and having a few nice blocks. OL: C Pass protection was very good considering how much Oakland blitzed but the run blocking was terrible. Mangold was obviously missed and Willie Colons play has really deteriorated over the past few weeks. May be time to give Winters a shot. Gailey: F I wonder if Bowles told Chan to go ultra conservative because this game was lost on back to back three and outs following Raider scores. Defense Dline: C The dline played OK but not good enough. They couldn't put any pressure on Carr but did a decent job stopping the run (I blame the second level more than the dline) LB: F Awful. They can not run sideline to sideline and if I was a d coordinated I would continue running these pitch/stretch plays on us. Also I would like to see Mauldin given more of a chance on an every down basis. Pace looks shot. Secondary: F Can I go lower than F? They were dreadful. Bowles had Marcus Williams as Strong Saftey in nickel and he couldn't tackle. Biggest offenders here were Williams, Skrine, and Cromartie. Why these guys give so much cushion is beyond me. Special Teams: C Non factor today. Although Quigley had a good day punting for a change. Head Coach: F Bowles was terrible today. The defense is his responsibility and they allowed 5 straight TD drives going back to last week. His blitzed never get to the QB and he has our CBs giving too much cushion. His clock management also is an embarrassment. So far Bowles looks like a head coach of the jets.
QB is an F- His "pre determination" to throw to Marshall was such a joke Add in his stupid sacks, horrible drop backs, throwing off back leg, and you have SOG Same ole Geno
Lol qb B-. Geno is a total joke. Thanks for the laugh after a tough day. F everywhere we did not do well anywhere and it's time to part ways with 85% of these players we have.
Offense A failure Defense F- I dont even bother grading the P K and Spec Teams I am so disgusted The CS =The Titanic after the Iceberg. The GM : I believe he is good but I am sure he sees the writing on the wall and better do something The Owner : Under a rock. I ve noticed that Kraft Jones the Maras the Tisches are always visible registering happiness or disgust. Maybe Mrs J called the GM after this crapola, she has more stones than Woodrow the Fanbase: At lower point than the Mets fanbase (at least after 30 years they reach the WS) The Future :Could be promising with Petty and the young players but "life is not fair"
I grade on wins losses vs. the opponent , we lost to a team we should have beat. F for everyone. Geno was what I thought he was... average. Fun to watch when he on his game, Unwatchable when he's off his game. His fix seems so easy, yet he hasn't figured it out. The defense didn't show up. CS blew chunks.
