Ive been thinking about my fantasy football league draft coming up in about a month. I hold the 5th pick. I am not going to take him at 5, but do you think he is underrated this year. A lot of fantasy drafts dont even have him in the top 30-40 picks. Do you think he is a reach in the second round (10). I really think he can give us 1600 yards this year. What do you all think?

I would not draft him unless he hung around until the middle rounds and my early selections were really good.

In my 10 team league...I am planning on selecting him at 30th overall as long as he falls that far.

Yeah, second round is definitly to early. I think he?s a 4th rounder. And no, he won?t give us 1600 yards.

Always think Value when drafting, but I have moved T. Jones high up my draft boards. It's a keeper league so I have him in our 2nd round bucket.

TJ will have a much better year fantasy wise this year. He is going to fall farther than most people think. Wait till the fourth or fifth. Pick up a stud wr in the second...

    Quick note to add...

He will almost certainly will NOT have 1600 yards...TJ will max out at 1,400 yards 4-8 TD's. If he has a 1400 yard season though that would be fantastic.

Taking TJones in the 2nd round is more than a reach - it's just plain stupid.

That being said, I think he's a sleeper this year. But I won't even look at him until late 4th round.

I've been doing mock drafts for the last couple of days. I'm in a PPR league and WR's are at a premium this year, after the first and second Tier receivers there seems to be no promise of production (until the season starts and stars emerge). That said, you may be able to push TJ off until round 7, I've been getting Brandon Jacobs, Reggie Bush Maroney, and Jonathan Stewart in the later rounds. It's deep on RBs, IMO.

Edit: I said this last year, TJ still got over 1k Yards rushed last year with a shitty line. His fantasy numbers blew because he couldn't find the endzone (albeit the offense couldn't hold the ball, or they took him out in goalline scenarios....) However, with a better line and holes opening up, TJ will find the endzone more this year. He won't get the ball in goalline situations, but with bigger holes hopefully he can get a few rushes from 15-20 yds out, into the endzone.

HUGE reach in the second round. However, if youre drafting with a bunch of Jets homers, 3rd is better. 5th round is a steal, 4th is about where he should be going. Over the last several weeks, his ADP has been rising.
