I know we feel this every week, but especially this week!!!!!!!! I can't believe it's only f'in Thursday. Feels like I've been waiting a month for this game. It's because most SD fans are on cloud nine. The media had been giving us no respect, and rightfully so, SD Chargers are the hottest team. It's just that these bolt fans are giving the Jets so much disrespect (not a lack of respect, there's a difference) as if we have 0% chance to win. I want nothing short of a commanding victory on Sunday to shut these fairweather fans up. 4 Qtrs to our first AFCCG since 1998, and 8 Qtrs more for a revisit of 1969! :jets::jets::jets:
I do agree, its even going slower then last week, usually after Jet wins the week goes by pretty quick, I guess its the opposite for the playoffs

OH GOD yes....... especially considering I have no work this week (did have a good interview yesterday though!) Been doing my JETS t-shirt designs to keep my brain from spinning out

I'm actually tempted to chase the dragon until Saturday afternoon. Time flies when you are swimming on Saturn.
It is going slow. I was at Disney with my family over the weekend, saw the game there Saturday, traveled home most of Monday which should make this a short week, but it feels like it's been going on forever. Sunday is going to be sick. The older you get the more you realize how rare these games are--third time this decade we've gotten this far but only the sixth time in my 35 years of watching the Jets.
No matter what happens on Sunday I get the feeling this regime is headed in the right direction. Somebody gave me a bottle of Remy XO in 1998 and said I can only pop it when the Jets win. If they beat the Chargers on Sunday that bottle gets popped open.
I agree but you never know what happens. Right now we have the O-line as together as it could ever be, the D minus Jenkins of course clicking on all cyllinders, a good streak going, a lot in place. It's easy to say Rex and Sanchez should be here a while and get many chances to get back here, but you never know. Tell that to Tony Richardson, Thomas Jones or Calvin Pace. When you get this far you have to try and sieze the moment.
This week has been agonizingly slow. And this is the only place I can come to find any positive spin regarding our team. If I'm looking at news anywhere else I just end up pissed off and that slows things down even more. Can't wait for Sunday!
Not only is there a big game to look forward to but im also leaving for a little much need vacation Sunday morning. Its ok. I will be where i need to be come 4:30.
I had this same discussion with my GF when we woke up this morning. She cracked a joke saying "It is because you are a Jets fan waiting for a huge playoff game" then she added the universe has to torture you in some way don't worry the Jets can get the job done on Sun." I am glad to see that I am not the only one suffering from "Is it freaking Sunday yet" syndrome.
