Mate, we've been talking about him since last year. I'd rather have Benny Graham then him. Why the hell would we take a look at him? We signed Ben for seven years...

I got this off an eagles blog.

    P

Dirk Johnson- Had a pretty good game actually punting the ball. Grade: B plus.

Sav Rocca- Excellent performance today. Punted one ball from the back of the end zone to the opposing teams 30 yard line! WHAT?! That's what I've been waiting to see. I believe Rocca has taken the lead as the teams first string punter. Hopefully it continues. Grade: A plus.

Hi Guy's, I'm only new so please go easy on me. Do any teams have two Punters or would that be a luxury they couldn't afford?

Nobody will ever have two active punters that do nothing else.

The punter is only used around 3-5 times a game, so there's no way a team would sign two

Rocca took a major league cheapshot at the end of the play...

Helmet on helmet, away from the play. That would be a suspension if anyone cared.

Hopefully he has two legs, otherwise he'll fall on the ground with every punt. Plus he might need to make a tackle here and there.

The idea of considering anyone other than Graham right now is insane. He is the best punter we have had in a long time, and he is not affraid to put his shoulder down if he has to and drive into a tackle.

Just one time this year I would love the Jets to do a fake punt and have Graham run it. Just once.

I've been waiting for that since we got him. I can't tell you how many 4th & 5's I've been thinking he would bust out some of that Aussie shit for a first down--take his helmet and pads off, roll left, flatten a few guys and then lateral.

What other club would be interested in Rocca if the Eagles don't want him? Benny Graham has paved the way for increased interest in NFL downunder and I think Rocca can learn to punt very well given time. Are there any other places to play given the demise of the euro league for him to come up to speed?
