I have been a Jet fan for 25 years and everytime i see the nfl draft the jets blow a chance to take a "difference maker". (SAPP, MARINO, ED REED.... AND THE LIST GOES ON) I dont care if you give up the whole damn draft period for reggie bush. Brick will be a great player but he isn't going to pass td's or break long runs. I never understand this organization and thats why its been 35 years since we have won a super bowl.
nobody is going to throw td's or break long runs without someone blocking for them. we have 2 qbs who can start on the roster, chad is probably done but im interested to see what ramsey can do. and their are still at least 2 high level running backs on the board that may be around for the jets next pick so it is a bit early to jump ship imo.
Relax guys. A new regime isn't about to trade 2 first rounders and a high 3rd for a RB. We need building blocks right now- OL, DL, LB, CB stuff like that.
uggghhhhh im starting to really get frustrated..... how many other teams passed on the great players of the nfl? how many teams picked the wrong guy? how many times this how many times that. its not like the jets are the only team to ever make a mistake. maybe we should have traded up a few years ago to take ryan leaf, cause he was a sure thing that year. its the draft, it doesnt always work out. its not like d'brick is one of the guys we drafted in the late 80s early 90s.
We will still be able to grab a RB, and LB. hopefullly a QB in the 3rd. I really hope the Front Office knows what they are doing
man do you understand that the jets were one of a few teams who actually had the firepower to get bush....... i bet you about 20 other teams would've been in the mix if they had that power.... the FO didn't have the balls period.... can you imagine if bush came to new york? when is the last time u have seen a jet rb run away from a defense? i think the last one was freeman.... back in 85 just a thought of what could've been
