So, I really believe if Sanchez were to go down, this season would go down the toilet. Others would disagree. I'd like to see what you guys think of the situation. If Sanchez were to go down for the season, who would you want to be under center?
Fuse Tebow and McElroy together to create TEROY. Hopefully McElroy's arm strength got a little better over the off-season - I'd give him the chance
If Sanchez goes down for the season you have to try and run a spread offense with Tebow. We're probably screwed like we would have been the last 2 years, but Tebow's threat as a runner with our d would at least give us a chance in some games.
In the Jets lose Sanchez, we'd be as screwed as any other team that lost it's starting QB. However, Tebow proved that if the defense keeps it a one possession game through 3 and a half Qs, he can pull one out of his ass and win it. For that reason alone, I'll go with him.
Rex told the media today that Tebow would be the QB in that scenario. http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/je...ow-over-greg-mcelroy-if-mark-sanchez-suffers-
What if McElroy plays amazing against 2nd and 3rd stringers? Tebow hasn't shown anything really against the 2s and 3s. That would gander some talk about Tebow. If Tebow starts I would hate to see the face on Holmes.
McElroy reminds me of Pennington. A leader, limits turnovers, executes the play that's called. Tebow reminds me of Tebow, the former Florida Gator QB.
McElroy provides all of the throwing problems of Tebow with none of the athletic upside. We'd be fucked either way, but at least Tebow has some proven playmaking ability. McElroy brings nothing to the table as an NFL starter.
What McElroy are you talking about? He was very accurate during the preseason last year. Haven't watched him this year, but he's definitely more accurate than Tebow.
Tebow all the way... I'd rather have a QB who lead his team to a playoff win. Mark is the better QB but You'd be crazy to want McElroy over Tim
