A sick threat as a kick returner with four kickoff return scores in the past two seasons, Washington is also a slippery guy to tackle out of the backfield both running and receiving. His average yards-per-carry has risen from 4.3 in 2006 to 5.0 in 2007 to 5.9 last season. No defender looks forward to getting caught on him one-on-one.
The only thing that can stop Leon Washington is the Jets coaching staff. I strongly believe this CS will lean a lot more on LW since he's a ST from anywhere on the field and will help MTC on those 3rd down conversions.
If we're lucky he's getting 8 carries, 4 receptions and a few kick returns every game for the next decade. Based on his skills that would result in one of the greatest careers a NY Jet has ever turned in.
I agree, its good that the term "bad" now usually means something, well, bad. Edit: I still feel bad about the Vet telling me my dog was "really, really sick" I just said thanks man then 2 days later the fcking thing went and died on me.
