They've played well and yes they've played some subpar QB's but last year, an older more veteran secondary was getting torched by bum QB's. Claiborne has been one of the top CB's in the game, he's playing like Revis use to, and he's been a solid tackler in run support. Adams stays constantly around the ball. Maye has been GREAT as the last line of the defense, I swear nothing gets by him...plus he made a great play today grabbing the pick. Hell even the much maligned Skrine has looked better... Maybe it's better communication or better athleticism and players but much love for the back end of the defense.
Maye did miss the tackle on Duke Johnson's TD reception and in doing so, also took out a couple of other Jets defenders who may have been able to make the tackle.
As far as I'm concerned they got us the win and carried the team until the offense decided to play some damn football.
The secondary is the best part of this defense. The Defensive Line has been meh, wilk was a tadbit more active, Big Cat is steady but unspectacular. The LB’s have been ehhh, besides Davis Who is the best LB on the team
Like a broken record I'll say it again: You don't win on Defense but this organization spends their draft picks and millions there What you see is what ya get folks
Real happy for Maye getting his first INT. Adams as he has been every week has been consistent. Biggest dark horse has to be Claiborne. He's looked damn good.
If Ealy stays healthy this line can be very formidable, I just wish that Rodgers would move Big Cat on the line to create matchup advantages for him.
