If you?re not sure who you should play next Week, here?s the Thread to ask. Pls post the league scoring, and the Teams, your players play that WE if you want a good advice! So who would you start at a R/W-Flexspot 0,5 PPR league, rest is usual scoring. Edge (@ SF), Norwood (@ Min) or Braylon Edwards (Pit) I?m leaning torwards Edge. On another League, Scoring is 20yrds = 1pt, TD=6pts J. Lewis (Pit) or Norwood (@ Min) With the good Minny Run-D i?m leaning torwards Lewis. Who would you start?
I'd go with Edge and Jamal Lewis. Word out of Atlanta is that Dunn is the starter. Until I see Norwood getting the lion's share of the good stats, I wouldn't start him.
Yea, I agree. I believe Norwood will be the eventual starter, but right now he's just getting by on potential and a feel highlight clips from last season. Wait a few games to see how big his role is. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Cedric Benson vs. SD -or- Clinton Portis vs. MIA I loved my Benson pick, but he was been terrible in the preseason, only getting 2.8 YPC, and SD has a great run D. Clinton Portis is a question mark to how much he will play, but I have a feeling he will be fine from resting all preseason, and might return to his old self.
Here's a question for the fantasy-obsessed like myself. My team is weak at the WR3 spot. So who to start? Devery Henderson or DJ Hackett?
I'm having a similar dilemma. I have Brandon Jacobs and Portis and I am debating who to start. But I'll probably start Jacobs even though his ceiling is lower and he has a tougher match-up. I need to see how Portis performs before I can start him. So, yeah - I say go with Benson. But it's definitely a tough call.
i?d go with Benson. I?d sit Portis until you know what to expect from him, and with the Luxory of having a featured back with a good O-Line, there?s no need to gamble. And Miami Run-D isn?t that bad either!
I?d go with Henderson. Looks like he?s the clear #2 in NO for now. Indy?s D isn?t exactly great, and with Colston and Reggie, they probably forget about Henderson and Brees could make them play for that. I even thought about starting Henderson over Chambers myself.
Same here, you have a solid featured Back, so you don?t need to start Portis, until you know what to expect from him. I?d go with Jacobs.
Go with Benson...he is all Chicago has in the run game and who knows which type of passing game Grossman will bring. Betts will get as many carries as Portis.
Now THAT'S a tough one. There's a lot going on here. Palmer is the man but Baltimore is obviously very tough. Then you have Hasselbeck in Tampa, healthy for now, and Tampa's D sucks. But does that mean Seattle will just play conservative and stick to the run cuz Tampa's offense sucks too? It's questions like this that keep me up at night. Because it's close, I would just go with Palmer because he's better.
Bulger vs. Carolina or Hasselback vs Tampa Which 2 WR should I start Glenn vs Giants Hines Ward vs Cleveland Branch vs TB And which D Dallas vs Giants Jacksonville vs Titans
Just to make a comment about the obvious to all who play ff, it doesn't matter who you start, there will be one or two on the bench that will score more then who you chose. So next week and the week after you will play them and they will get you nothing. It is especially true in week 1 when teams that have changed so much over the winter it's impossible to know who will be good and who will be bad (with a few obvious exceptions).
Bulger. Branch and Hines. Glenn may not even play. Jax in a landslide. Come on, man. Gimme some hard ones.
Tough one. But, if this year's Steelers are anything like last year's Steelers, it's gonna be a ball-control day against Cleveland, which means not many stats for Big Ben. I'd go with Palmer.
The whole point of drafting Palmer is to start his ass every game regardless of who he plays. Their division is full of tough defenses which they play twice, if you were going to question whether starting Palmer or not you shouldn't have taken him in the first place. His receivers have proven they are apt to get open and he will have time to throw on throwing downs. Don't clutter the boards with: Start Palmer? Start Manning?
Standard DST Scoring... Denver vs. Buffalo or Philly vs. Green Bay Also: Standard offensive scoring, no PPR 2nd RB to pair w/Gore?: A. Peterson (MIN) vs. ATL C. Taylor vs. ATL DeAngelo vs. STL Fred Taylor vs. TEN P.S. N2C, you need to start Portis...the guy's a stud until proven otherwise.
