Based on what I saw today, and the fact that Brady might now be playing....I think we can actually go 2-0. :jets:ats_suck:
If the Jets have a 2-0 record, I wonder if the momentum can carry them into SD with a convincing performance there too. I think that game is going to be epic. The Jet crowd better mess up Cassel's snap count like they do in Seattle.
I'd like to see Farve audible on some of those 3rd and long running plays BS calls every now and then. I think after being in the league this long, Farve might be able to call his own plays at some point down the line this season. Do we have a chance next week against NE? Absolutely we do. Might actually steal one from the mighty Pats if our OC doesn't pull a Herm and handcuff our QB..
A fighting chance? We have way more than that, and I'm pretty sure we'll be declared the favorites by Vegas. At least 3 points.
We had a fighting chance before Brady went down. We need to take this opportunity now and rip them to shreds. It's still going to be a hard fought game either way, and as said above I agree that it comes down to our DB's vs. their WR's. Anyone writing off NE though is a fool.
I think we have a very good chance to be at least 2-1 going into Week 4. The Pats simply arent the same team without Brady, and the Chargers were less then impressive today. I think both games are winnable, but realistically I say we win one of them. 3-0 is just icing on the cake. AFC East, here we come!
The Jets have better than a fighting chance on Sunday, they're at home and only one team is going to have an NFL caliber starting QB on the field. If we can't beat the Pats next week we're pretenders not contenders.
At this point, with no Brady, we need to beat the pats next week. A loss is not exceptable. They are still a very talented team and can not be taken lightly. This is almost as much of a must win as week 2 can be at this point.
2-1 is what I was predicting before Brady got hurt and SD lost. I still thing that's what it will be though.
