Jaguars sponsor sues to have name removed from game due to impending clown invasion https://sports.yahoo.com/jaguars-sp...ue-to-impending-clown-invasion-231113471.html Credit to @abyzmul for reporting on the clown invasion first.
I don't know about y'all... but I'm pretty happy we ended up with our pretty boy Zach. And that's not a dig at Trevor... he'd probably look about the same in our system.
The thing that bothers me about Shad Khan is that it shines a light on a shitty owner for another team so it makes Charlie and Linus look better by comparison.
I was perusing a Panthers board earlier today and saw this amusing post. I thought about quoting it here, but couldn't find a suitable thread. Until now. " We didn't almost land Stafford. We almost cut a deal with the Lions until Stafford was like, "Uh... hell no." Maybe we should've checked with Stafford before we helped the Rams negotiate their trade package. The Lions just used us. Just like the Jets did in the Darnold deal. That's where our Panthers are right now. Getting clowned on by the likes of the Lions and Jets. Am I the only one who thinks it's stupid for RoofClaim.com to try to pull out and sue? Sometimes "negative publicity" can be a huge business opportunity. I would've ridden this horse to the moon. It's not as if you're attaching youself to racism or sexual assault. Anyway, clown away.
It’s actually probably a genius move. They become the mascot of the Clown movement… In a good way. The locals who hate the ownership will love the company for it.
They are in fact taking advantage of the situation. There is no bad publicity. They are doubling down on their investment. Super smart.
