Im sure over the next week everyone will be harping on the horrid WR play of McCarreins, and deservingly so. Even Coles could have caught that ball in the endzone, although that was more understandable. But on the bright side, how about Jerricho "big play" Cotchery. He is just the nastiest wide receiver I have ever seen. He had 165 yards, and most of that was his own doing after the catch, not the incredible play of KC. People say he doesnt have the speed, but everytime i look at him he is serperating from defenders. People say he doesnt have the size, yet everytime i look at him he is carrying 3 defenders on his back. I am incredibly impressed by him, and i think we have ourselves one of the most underrated players on the league. Props to Jerricho.

Great thread. Cotchery has been the best surprise out of the Jets in years. He could easily be our #1. Thankfully, he doesn't have to be cuz Coles is still the man. Point is, Cotchery is friggin awesome.

    I'm with you 100%...

I've said it once and I'll say it again... With an upright QB who can get him the ball, Cotchery is EASILY a top 3-5 QB in the NFL....

On the Jets, he's still top 10.... I have NEVER seen a guy who fights for every yard like Cotchery does... He's really incredible to watch!

Like I said in the game thread, with a good O-line and a solid QB these 2 will be a top 5 pair in the league....they sorta already are.

McCrapHands strikes again. What a dogshit receiver he is.

Cotch and Clemens showed they are clutch......

When Jericho caught that pass on the last drive, he stuttered after the catch, expecting a hit. Then he realized that the ball actually got to him fast enough that he could turn and run. Imagine if he could get used to that feeling...

Jerricho Cotchery had an absolutely amazing game today. I do not know Who should be playing QB next week. But we need to get the rock to the Recievers. Also I think we should pass the ball to open up the running game We didnt even use Baker till that TD pass today, and if we did we could potentially have a really potent passing game.

Got him in a few of My FF Teams...
Mostly cause I am a big fan.

Funny, he was open on the 2nd McCareins drop but Kellen must not have known about Justin "Manos de Piedras" McCareins....

Cotchery is the guy we needed to figure out last season to move forward. Clemens is that guy this season. D'Brick will likely be that guy next season.

And for the record I've always wanted to see the guy that broke Torry Holt's records at NC State. Last season we got a glimpse of him from time to time. Today we saw him in all his glory.

Cotchery is going to be to Clemens what Coles was to Chad when they were both young and busting out.

    Love Cotch.

Would like to have seen the ball in Leon's hands other than handing it to referee after a fair catch. He was underutilized, and makes the same types of plays Cotch does on this own.

KC was giving him passes in stride allowing cotchery to run.. and he was brilliant once he got going.

Also, Any reason Cotch didn't cut it back in on the Safety on the Big play?

Looks like he had 1 more guy to beat...

  20. He's tough, he's smart, he's fast and he's crafty. He's also well on his way to being a star.
