Coming from me, it says a lot, because I don't like his style of play much. Hats off to Brian Schottenheimer for balancing the short yard throws with the medium and long range throws. And pulling the team together and lead them to a go ahead touchdown. Thank you Chad! You Deserve this.
im loving the 2 deep passes to coles thus far, and getting the ball to everyone on offense, especially cotch! no more check down to the RB every play...love it!!!
if im not mistaken you hated on chad more than any member on this board so coming from you it does show just how far the man has come. Dare i say, "believe" in the chad man!!!!!!!!!!!
His arm is looking stronger than ever. The pass protection gave him good time almost all day. He is the Jets QB for the forseeable future right now. Can anyone honestly say after this game that his arm is not that good? He is throwing long balls, and on medium passes still has a lot of spiral. Chad's the man. He deserved this win more than anyone, with the possible exception of Mangini!
I think I might be wearing my Chad jersey tomorrow because I am most definately not wearing my Nugent Jersey! :lol:
An absolutley fantastic game from Pennington today. 24/33 319 yards, 2 TDs He did most of it by himself, with some awesome play from Cotchery and Coles. Coles looked awesome out there, and Penny throwing bombs? Wow. I tink he may have a rebirth of sorts. AFC Player of the Week.
Chad is the NFL MVP! Seriously, remove one player from any other team and they don't tank like the Jets without Penny.
The Pennington we know is back. Keep up the great work! I really wish I would have picked him up late for my fantasy team.
Coles had a great day too... 8 catches for 153 yards. No TD's, but an awful lot of yardage for us. Welcome back to the NFL Mr. Pennington! :up:
Yeah what he said ^ mistermoss said ... lol!!! But I aint celebrating yet, I THINK we are gonna be the best sub 500 team in the NFL this year, we're gonna be competitive but we allowed TENESSEE to comeback after having them down. But thats mostly because of Nuge ... He needs to get it together he's an excellent kicker but I think he's shook by the NFL game.
One game, but had to like it. Liked the leadership more than even the throws. Did anyone catch Penny winking on the sideline when he started the 4th-Qtr go-ahead drive. Clemens is the future of the Jets, but Pennington is the here and now and I couldn't be more psyched.
