https://www.si.com/nfl/titans/news/tennessee-titans-nfl-offensive-line-pass-protection-issues Last 3 years in TN his OL ranked 28, 29, and 32 in pass protection per PFF. Conversely, his OL were upper half of NFL in run blocking. I could see this being a Rodgers approved change that Saleh can effectively sell. “With Aaron back we are going to attack the OL in the off-season and once that gets fixed we will be unstoppable”
He's gonna have a huge credibility gap with that line.. Not to mention the possibility that Rodgers either gets hurt again OR just says I'm done which leaves him with.... Zach Wilson.
More often than not I don’t think position coaches (outside of QB coach and defensive backs) can really hurt a group. They might be able to help a group. But the amount of free runners we allow is disgusting. I’m all for accountability though. The talent isn’t there but you can’t consistently have the worst group that sinks the team and keep your job.
Since pass plays have been 60% of plays from scrimmage over the last three years in the NFL this points to a guy who refuses to acknowledge how the game is played today. Look at where in the "upper half" his run blocking shows up. Ten and twelve in his last two years don't impress me when combined with 29 and 32 in pass protection.
