Last year all we heard was that our defense needed to improve in one area ...
Pass Rush. This guy was supposed to be a big part of that improvement, and what has he done for us --- ZERO.

He really hasn't made a big play for us all year. Honestly, I don't know how he's gone all season without being called out by the fans or the media.
I couldn't stand him when he was with the Dolphins and I never wanted him here in the first place ... but I told myself I'd back him since he was one of us now ... and Rex thought he'd be a productive part of his system.

He has four games left ... and hopefully the playoffs ... to prove that he wasn't a complete waste of a roster spot.
    DO SOMETHING TO HELP US!

He did end any chance of the Patriots rally when they were in the redzone, he hit brady and caused a fumble.

Yeah ... I gues that makes him a beast.
name the time when we were desperate for a big play on defense and he came up big.

This whole defense has really underproduced this year not just him.

I think you are over reacting just a touch. He has a couple big plays, which is a fuckton more than the rest of this awesome defense right now.

week2 vs. the pats but thats already been mentioned i guess

can't really single him out individually for the teams OVERALL lack of pass-rush/sacks...if you want to put it a different way, Jason Taylor would be considered "the smartest kid with down-syndrome" in terms of being the sack leader on the new york jets this season. aka..not really saying too much, but not being compared to much either.

Who is this ... his agent??
Since you have memory like an elephant, why don't you recount for me all those big sacks and forced fumbles I must have forgotten about. And maybe you've lost count but we've played 12 games now and game 5 was a long time ago.

He was supposed to be the guy who made us a better pass rushing team.
has he done that? Yes or NO??

you said he has done nothing, which is incorrect.

there's been a lot of spotty play from our team.

you want disappointments? Calvin pace deserves the biggest finger point, with brodney pool not far behind

Brodney Pool has been disaster as well.
Remember ... Rex said Taylor would have 10 sacks EASY in this system.
He's not close and I never see him pressuring the QB.
The move hasn't worked ... he has 4 games to prove me wrong and I hope he does.

I personally think he's had a good year. Might be cuz I wasn't expecting him to be the beast he used to be.

And he has made big plays.

He made a big tackle for loss in the first game to give us a chance to get the ball back late in the 4th(he played like a beast in that whole game vs the run)

He had the big sack to close out the win vs NE

He had a sack in the 4th quarter vs minnesota

Had another big sack in OT vs the browns which buried them completely in their endzone

Has he been the pro-bowler Jayson Taylor? No. But he has made plays for us this year

Jason Taylor is far from what he used to be... I never really bought all that hype that Ryan had going for him, but I thought he'd play solid, which he has, for a 36 year old.
