From rotoworld: Tim Tebow - QB - Jets Coach Rex Ryan said Tim Tebow (ribs) will be the No. 2 quarterback Sunday if he's healthy. Ryan's words and actions continue to baffle common sense. He traded for Tim Tebow, but isn't using him even though the season is in the tank and Mark Sanchez has been among the worst starting quarterbacks in the league. This week, the starting decision came down to Sanchez or Greg McElroy -- not Tebow. But now, Rex is saying Tebow will play ahead of McElroy on Sunday. Just keeping up with the Jets' soap opera is becoming exhausting. Source: Mike Garafolo on Twitter Dec 5 - 12:04 PM
why are they stupid? for doing the right things? they made the right decision to bench mark last week, they made the right decisions to start Mark this week and if Tim is healthy he'll rightfully be #2.
Just like the rest of this train wreck, the cs continues to eff up the qb situation. I don't even want to see Tebow on the field anymore this year, Greg should be starting and mark looked good holding that clipboard.
Rightfully? How has he rightfully been deemed number 2? Because he can do gimmick plays? He shouldn't be on the Jets to begin with.
Hmm.... I thought McElroy would at least be upgraded to backup over Tebow...I wonder what happens if Mark sucks, now... Would Rex really want to start Tebow?
If Greg is listed as the number three qb and they are all active, isn't there a rule that says Greg can't skip Tebow in the order and can't play if Sanchez plays bad? I am having a hard time remembering
When Sanchez falls on his face again, this is Rex's way of showing everyone that both Tim and Greg are better than Mark.
I don't know about that, but once the 3rd guy comes in, I don't think they can't go back to the starter.
Lol no and that's why its so fucking frustrating. Making Tebow number 2, and I guarantee this will happen if he's still hurt, ensures Sanchez he's not getting benched regardless if he shits the bed. This is management coddling him again.
