Haha.... "When you think of the list of the most 100 influential people in the world, your mind probably automatically goes to figures like Barack Obama, Warren Buffett and Mitt Romney. People like Benjamin Netanyahu and Iftikhar Chaudhry and Kim Jong Un and Louis CK (and, for some reason, Claire Danes). And of course, the mighty Tim Tebow. Which is exactly how Time views him, as the magazine has named Tebow to the most influential list, leading us to believe that Tebow is the first backup quarterback ever to be on the same list as Hillary Clinton. Making matters ever more awesome is who wrote the essay on Tebow for Time. That would be a man named Jeremy Lin. Writes Lin: Watching Tim Tebow play football, you can observe many things about his character. You see his fierce competitiveness, his strong work ethic and how he is a leader that his teammates trust and respect. But it is the qualities that Tim, 24, embodies in his life off the field that truly set him apart. He is unashamed of his convictions and faith, and he lives a life that consistently reflects his values, day in and day out. Through his foundation, he constantly reaches out to people and communities in need of hope. He realizes what he has been blessed with and seeks to help those who are worse off. As athletes, we pour our hearts into winning games. Tim is a reminder that life is about much more than that. Yet, Tebow on this list? Really? Well, it's probably true, considering Tebow's appeal, but it just strikes me as a tad bit Lin-sane (see what I did there?)." http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/e...place-on-top-100-most-influential-people-list
Doesn't surprise me that it's Jeremy that wrote the essay about him. Very awesome for him. Hope Jeremy gets well too and comes back to form. These guys are class acts if you ask me.
Tim dedicates his money and time to building hospitals/foundations at home as well as in far away places for crippled children. He generates an amazing amount of charitable donations for those type of causes all over the world. Tebow's scope obviously extends way beyond football. It's on Bono's level when it comes to charity on a global scale and Bono incidentally is also on the list.
What a joke. There are dozens of NFL players who charities and charitable contributions did more last week than Tim Tebow has done in his entire life. Great, he snagged some headlines because he went to some third world country and circumsisized some kids. Perhaps people should be talking about Tebow's affiliation and monetary support for the SPLC certified hate group Focus on the Family. I couldn't be happier that this circus is out of Denver.
Wow, another hater so obsessed with Tebow, that he came here just to talk shit. Good to see that nothing has changed with you Phaytal.
I see you are no longer banned over here. Lets see if you can make it at least a couple of weeks this time before attempting to swallow Tebow's entire dong, and getting yourself banned again. Also, 274 posts in 2 weeks over here, all about Tebow? Obsessed much?
your calling him obsessed? your the one following Tebow like a lost little lamb in order to rip into him again. Your post is pure irony.
For some reason this post reminds me of that scene in Apocalypto when everything is all fine and peaceful in the village and a random group beaten down men from another village pass through nomadically - Leaving a feeling of uneasiness and forboding of a potential disaster.
