Don't kill the messanger, just wanted to see what you guys thought of this.:buffaloblows: I would have actually had the Pats as one of the teams on the slide, not the Jets,
It's the same old excuses for us to fall (Chemistry Problems, blah blah blah) whatever though once the season starts and Tom Brady is crying like a little girl because he keeps getting knocked the fuck down, they will be the ones falling not us. Our team has questions that need to be answered no doubt about that, but people quickly forget how good of a team we could of been last season if not for our minor slip ups at the end of games last season. We probably would of won the AFC East last season if not for the BUF, Jag, ATL games, let alone the Miami games ... if we can find a way to win games like that and not lose or throw them away then we will be in good shape This season it's a new story hopefully with a better ending
I mean if by "on the fall" he means we won't make it as far as last season I don't think that's an unreasonable opinion. If he means in general we're getting worse as a team I don't really understand where he's coming from. I mean, we had a rookie QB and a rookie HC last season and did pretty well. I'd imagine they will both grow with experience.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Of course they are wrong, but it's a Boston paper, so that really can go unsaid..
Funny thing is that entire list seemed pretty good, but the jets were the only team on there that would leave someone scratching their head. Id bet it almost completely has to do with it being "boston.com"" under the patriots section.
Boston newspaper in "Patriots' biggest rivals aren't as good as others think" claim shock. Although this statement: "In a division in which the other three teams are legitimate playoff contenders, the Bills are going to struggle to match last season's win total" doesn't seem to tally so well with this statement: "This team will implode, and we're skeptical that jovial but undisciplined coach Rex Ryan can handle it" Either we're a playoff contender, or we'll implode. Make up your minds.
Man I'm ready for the season to start. I tired of hearing "the Jets aren't that good", "there going to have problem with all those attitudes on the team", "Rex can't coach", "LT is washed up and won't help the Jets". We know they are good because they are the team to hate. Lets play some FOOTBALL!!!
For an overall regular season (9-7) and overall record (11-8) .578 win percentage, I think it is impossible to call the Jets a team that will fall this year. They have become a stronger team. If the person is saying they won't get to the title game, I guess that makes sense cause its hard to get there, but as an overall team, the Jets have to be considered rising.
without reading the article, teams i would have on each end: rise: Lions Raiders Jets Dolphins fall: Pats Steelers Cards Eagles
wow...the Texans on the rise?? There's some ground breaking shit. How many years are people going to keep saying this before they give up? Werent they supposed to win the division over the Colts last year? ANd....People hate the Jets...we get it. We dont give a flying fuck either. People dont hate you when you suck...does anyone really hate the Lions?
Yeah I frequent the Masshole area, my only brother lives there. They're Jet obsessed up there, it's comical. Everyone I talk to who knows me is forever talking shit about the Jets. Us going to the AFC champ game really had a effect on them. Lol
you're either gonna love the jets or hate the jets this year. I think we'll see a lot of 1st or 3rd predictions. Not many 2nd place.
again Buffalo flys under the radar and are given no credit. Damn i cant wait for the season to start so the critics can shut the freak up!
