Ray: This kid is an every down back. Showing great video...

Buttle: Might be the biggest deal the Jets have made in yeas..

"Cannot beat the Jones deal, value for value...

"Will Jones be the guy in the red zone that enhances Penny"

Lucas: Young buck comikng off the bench in the red zone... I'll take him 2 times or 35 times on Sunday...

Are the Jets set at RB?

Buttle: I don't think so. Still need a solid FB

Lucas: Jones is shifty and runs between the tackles.. I think they ARE set

    How will Jones help Pennigton?

Lucas: {Penny will have an easier time... no 8 men in the box... makes it easier for him...

Buttle: I think it's going to be a big, big year for the Jets

I don't know. I'm watching the show up here in NJ. Went to intermission. The three commentators so far are VERY positive on "this kid" they're calling him.

Ha ha, even though chicago has been huge the past few years, unless you play fantasy, jones has kind of been one of those under the radar guys...weren't you the one who asked who he was when we got him? And did the commentators forget about barnes at FB or were they just saying that he sux?

Interview going on now with Jones.

Int: Fresh off 1200 yard season. First off, how satisfying is it to be a Jet?

Jones: I'm very happy being here.. very comfortable,.. blah, blah

Int: Coming off the SB, what prompted the request?

Jones: the best situation for me... SB a great experience but you have to adjust and move forward.. I'mjut happy to be a part of NY.

Jones: closer to home and in a great city.

Int: How does your rushing attack compliment?

Jones: I'm gonna go out there and produce the best I can. Always ready to go and always ready to do what the Cs wants.

Int: The jets have been looking for a premier RB

Jones: I've beenin situations where I've got the experience and willing to do whatever I have to do. (not really answering the questions too directly)

He wanted NY, not the Jets specifically, shoot, I wouldn't be surprised if he actually meant the gints and his request had something to do with tiki retiring, and the bears sent him here just to piss him off...

Custer: He wanted to vome to NY!

Ray: THis is the hardest place to play. But if you can make it here you can mke it anywhere.

Now showing Coleman video of him sacking QBs

Now they're talking about the Patriots, Addalius Thomas.. they're all over the NFL now.

They think that Porter's overrated and was overpaid for but that Penny should be very afraid of the Pats' D this year with Thomas.

Buttle: Porter was overpaid... dolphins DEF is just not that good to make him a better player.

Onto the Bills... "Bills are making the most :"curious" moves of any team..

Ray: McGahee was unbelievable against the Jets, now the Bills get rid of him.

Buttle: The Patriots have made the best deals so far... helped themselves at almost every needed position.

    Going to break...

The interview with Jones was disappointing, IMO. Nothing specific and just a lot of politically correct generalities.

    Tnany interview now:

Tanny: things heated up yesterday afternoon. Good relationship with the GM of the Bears... things really heated up... we worked thru the night on his contract.

INT: Is the the premeir RB"

Tanny: With Jones, Leon and Houston we havea good combinaton... better opportunities.

INT: Are you set now at RB?

Tanny: If there is another opp we will go after that too... always looking at the options. When opps are there we will act.

Tanny: The jets were quiet but we were working , got Jericho signed, signed Coleman and Jones.

INT: how much time is spent resigning guys?

Tanny: pretty busy days now, been a while since I've seen my family
We're always looking for opportunities to improve the team.

    Show is over now...

Well, my overall impression is, if you missed this TV Show, you didn't miss much. The video was the best part, otherwise, everyone is so damned tight-lipped and contrite, all that comes out are generalities and overall statements that basically tell you nothing new.
