Got to make a decision about going next week at 1. If the last game had been flexed, could've waited until 4pm after Baltimore and NE games finished to see if we still had a shot. I would love to have stuck it to Woody and have nobody show up at 8:15 if the fuckers were already eliminated.
so thats the scenerio for sure? i know if the pats lose we controll our own destiny for the div. so if the ravens lose, we can still get the wc right? b.t.w, theres no doubt in my mind, that we will beat miami.
Yes, there is proof! Also, the Jets-Phins is not guarenteed to be at 1:00. The 1:00's and 4:00's have not been settled yet.
PFT is saying we could slide to 4:15 http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/12/21/fins-jets-could-slide-to-late-afternoon/
Yeah, it will likely be 4:15. Or they could slide the Giants-Vikings back, and maybe the Bills-Pats game, too, that way the Pats know what is on the line for them, rather than us. Chances are, we play at 4:15 next week.
I would much rather play at 1:00. At that point, the Jets could still be playing for something. If it comes to 4:15 and the Patriots and Ravens had already won, whats the point? If I am Miami, I am praying for a 4:15 start.
would love a 4:15 start just so we can maybe have a repeat of 2002 Josh Scobee or Ryan Lindell kicks the winning FG making for pandemonium at the Meadowlands? Na, half the fans won't be in the stadium
because they are morons...this morning ESPN was running playoff scenarios on the bottom of the screen saying the only way Dallas gets in is with win mext week against philly of course, and an ATL loss AND 2 TB losses. anyone who can read a newspaper would know dallas just needed a win and ONE TB loss.....if the Jets win and Baltimore loses...they are in. Period.
I asked this in another thread but where is all this confidence coming from? What makes you think the Jets will beat Miami this week excluding homerism?
I hate to say it, but I get the feeling the Jets will beat the Dolphins, but it will all be for naught because the Ravens and Patriots will win. As much as I dislike the Patriots, I have to say that I never thought after Brady went down that they would possibly win the division, yet here we are.
How many Dolphins players from the past 10 years are still on this team? Is Wanny, Jimmy or Cam coaching this team still? Miami has everything to play for where the Jets will already likely be eliminated by the time the game starts, the Jets have been abysmal the past month where the Dolphins have been solid and have a 4-0 record. So again what makes Jets fans so confident that they don't have any doubts they will win this week?
