Looks like powell is our 3rd down back based on snaps today. Everyone excels returning kicks under westhoff.

I didn't know anyone would be dumb nough to suggesst trading him.

Especially since he wouldn't get much in return, certainly not what he's worth to us

    This.

When was the last time a kick returner wasn't successful on this team?

Trading McKnight makes little sense. But I will say the kid has to learn to hold onto the football...He nearly lost the first KR.

No, I'm serious. Unless they have big plans for him in the Jesuscat, I don't see where Sparano plans on using him?

I don't think McKnight will be cut, but it wouldn't be completely shocking. He's clearly behind Powell in the RB depth chart. He is replaceable as a KR, whoever Westhoff puts back there will have success.

I think we would replace him with someone we picked up off waivers. Maybe even another runningback, RB is the most likely place to get talent off waivers since there are a lot of talented RBs out there, and right now, most are healthy.

Maybe someone not already on the roster who doesn't seem to have a fumble problem? I get the impression that Sparano is putting a huge emphasis on ball security.

He looked ok this week but I also thought we showed a lot of strength at RB this week. Even Connor was doing his job. I don't think McKnight will be cut but I also don't know how much he will see play between the wildcat, Greene and Powell.

He didn't carry the ball once as a RB. Even Ganaway got a carry, but no McKnight.

They may be saving him for the wildcat, who knows.

I think he didnt play much because he was injured with shin splints. The fact that they gave Ganaway a carry and not him was pretty telling- either he is still sore/injured or he has really fallen far.

He looked like the best back in the first game to me, so Im not sure why he hasnt gotten more action, especially in the 4th quarter.

My confidence in our backfield has once again gone down tremendously. I knew come draft time we needed to add a back (LOVED Doug Martin and was hoping he fell to the 2nd) and now once again have come back to reality realizing McKnight and Powell wont break out.

Sad to look at all the teams that have multiple runningbacks that are better than our #1 back... Carolina has 2/3, Saints have 4, Giants have 2, Texans have 2, Jags have 2,KC has 2, Buf has 2 ect...

I think he's starting rumors by denying them. It's pretty genius, really.

While we're at it, Tom Brady was never charged with assault and battery against a hooker.

I don't know about trading him, but he is a ticking time bomb . . . penalties, fighting, throwing crap, fighting in practice last thurs (I was there standing 10 feet away) totally unreal. Needs to stop and real soon.
