I'm bored so Im listening to Stephen A. Smith on espn podcasts. I guess he's a Jets fan because hes loving the results of the game yesterday. Anyway, hes saying people (if at all) should be bashing Mangini not for going for it on 4th and short, but for not putting Miller back in return when Leon put the Jets on the 2. Because Miller even said he had enough energy to run it back, interesting. What do you guys think??

I don't think Stephen A. knows his rear end from his elbow.

I can't tell the difference between Stephen A. Smith and a tree stump, except for maybe the volume and attitude.

That's the truth. Here's something from Bob Raissman's article in this past Sunday's New York Daily News. I couldn't get the link, so I'm just copying it from the paper itself.

    Stephen A. Woops!
While all those Wednesday reports of Terrell Owens pill-popping episode kind of ran together, ESPN-1050's Stephen A. Smith issued one unforgettable take on the matter.

With the initial reports of Owens latest travail coming fast and furiously Smith told his listeners he was still "not sure" if "Owens committed suicide."

    Classic.

I like how he gets louder and blacker when he really needs to try and make a point.

the Screaming A-Hole racist is now on the "Panel of Experts" on 1050. I find it funny how they claim to have "every baseball expert in NY" participating. Yeah 1050, just like you broadcast "every playoff game."

Bunch of liars. They have a bunch of blowhard morons on, including Screaming A, and they'll actually broadcast about half of the playoff games, judging from past years.

Quite frankly, telling me that Screaming A is a baseball expert is an insult to my intelligence.

That's exactly the kind of moronic thing that comes out of his mouth daily.

Quite frankly, I think Screaming A likes Cheez Doodles.

For the record "Screaming " A was quite impressive as a panelist on CNN "screaming " about a wide variety of politics and current affaris and yes he was SCREAMING as usual, lol. Look the guy is entertaining at the very least, journalists have styles and his is quite unusual, but thats his thing, so please levae him be, i am amused and entertained by him, and oh informed as well.

As soon as some of you stop taking yourselves and Stephen A. Smith, you'll take his rants for what it's worth, comedy.

I find him extremely entertaining and rather watch him than most personalities on sports television.

edited. Anyway, if you looked at him as a moron to laugh at, I guess it's funny.

But quite frankly, I don't like it when racist, no-talent morons get good radio gigs.

    Wrong, again.

No-talent morons? Do you think you get your own tv and radio show, constant air time on networks like ESPN and ABC as a no-talent moron?

Guy probably has degrees that mean very much. Sorry, bro... but your hate on Smith is hillarious.

Screaming A Smith attended Winston-Salem State University on a basketball scholarship.

Yes, if you have the "qualities" Screaming A has.

If you really want to lie to yourself and think just any loud no-talent moron could get the air time Stephen A. Smith gets, go right ahead.

no, I didn't say "any" loudmouth no-talent moron could get the jobs that Screaming A got. The loudmouth no-talent moron has to have certain "qualities."

But I'm sure his degree means a lot. My academic record already looks more distinguished than his, and I'm still in school.

Anyway, I agree with SAS that if Miller had enough to be able to go, he should've been on the field for the return.

I still don't understand how SAS qualifies as a "baseball expert", however.
