Hoping for a good clean matchup vs. you guys this year!

You guys have a tough time stopping the run, which is something the Steelers are usually solid at doing. I like our Defense and how it matches up against Clemens.

Any predictions on the final score?

Jets always come out flying and end up crashing hard at the end. Jets also give up tons and tons of yardage, and allow a lot of third down conversions, but generally keep the score down.

    Steelers 24
    Jets 17

Because the Steelers will run the ball and try to control the time of possession.

You guys will get 1 or 2 returns for TD's against our shitty special teams :)

Finally we get to see a well manned and well schemed 3-4 take the feild. Too bad its for the wrong friggen team.

    James Harrison is a beast.

    Sigh....

I saw the Browns game yesterday. Great game! Roethlisberger was great in the 4th quarter. I see what you mean about your ST's. That KO return they allowed was the play of the day.

This is a bad matchup for the Jets (are there any good matchups for the Jets this year :( ). Steelers are a smash mouth team and the Jets are weak in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Parker will have a big day. Clemens may surprise you though. I think that he will pose more of a threat than ol' noodle arm. And he also should have all his receivers healthy this week.

Jets fans should watch Aaron Smith. He's what you want in a 3-4 end. Keisel has become very solid at RE as well. Of course having Casey Hampton in the middle makes everyone else better.

Yep. They play the 3-4 the way it's supposed to be played. We need a big fatboy like Casey Hampton to clog up the middle.

Big Ben has been abused his 2 past games vs NYJ(1 in playoffs, 1 the following year), so idk if you would expect monster numbers from him even though those were Herm's teams.

Thats like the one team who has had Ben's number thus far.

But we wont stop Willie Parker and Davenport so Steelers will win 26-13 or something of that.

Unlike certain AFC teams who play in the Boston area, the Steelers have too much class to run up the score.
