The Jets just announced that this afternoon's practice will be moved to the back fields and the bubble and they will be closed to the public. It's a weather issue with thunder and lightning continuing to float around the area. Practice on Monday is scheduled for 2 p.m. and will be open to the public -- as of now. Check nyjets.com or weather.com for updates.

Whatever happened to all that "practicing in the elements" thing Mangini was so fond of last year? It seemed to prepare them well against the Patsies in that mud bowl...

I don't blame you. You beat the Patriots 1 out of every 10 times you play them you need all the reasons you can find to post the picture.

    Jets vs Pats

Jets 48 wins - 44 losses - 1 tie and 0-1 in post season vs Pats. I`d have to say you are wrong.

    1985 NE 26 @ NY 14 (AFC Wild Card)

according to my media guide, they only played once in post season.

Here is the breakdown of the Jets entire post-season appearances:

    1968 AFL Championship Jets 27 - Oak 23
Super Bowl III Jets 16 - Balt 7
    1981 Wild Card Bills 31 - Jets 27
    1982 AFC Playoff Jets 44 - Cincy 17
    1982 AFC Playoff Jets 17 - LA 14
    1982 AFC Championship Mia 14 - Jets 0
    1985 Wild Card NE 26 - Jets 14
    1986 Wild Card Jets 35 - KC 15
    1986 AFC Divisional Clev 23 - Jets 20 (2 OT`s)
    1991 Wild Card Houston 17 - Jets 10
    1998 AFC Divisional Jets 34 - Jags 24
    1998 AFC Championship Den 23 - Jets 10
    2001 Wild Card Oak 38 - Jets 24
    2002 Wild Card Jets 41 - Indy 0
    2002 AFC Divisional Oak 30 - Jets 10
    2004 Wild Card Jets 20 - SD 17 (OT)
    2004 AFC Divisional Pitt 20 - Jets 17 (OT)

that is it as far as the Jets and their playoff history goes. Sad, no?
