There is no way the Jets are winning this game. Mangini and company are just not up to it. With all their injuries, the Pats are now at about equal talent level with the Jets. That means it will come down to coaching and preparedness, and Belidick will, as usual, outcoach the dour self important knucklehead on our sidelines. If you gamble, bet your lungs on the Pats. Its a sure thing.

Thank you for your opinion, but you're about to be proven wrong.

Wahoo are you saying that their talent level was above ours before Thomas and Harrison went down?

They lost to the Fins, remember?

I am not saying we're guaranteed to win, but I definitely feel like both teams have an equal chance.
Actually, I was thinking this morning that is the Jets can win tomorrow, the Jets-Titans game will be hugely publicized and people will be wondering if we can be the team to stop them, especially if the run D shows up tomorrow.

Jets are on a roll after an huge win. Pats are reeling from injuries.

Their glory boy QB is sitting at home. Our HOF quarterback is laughing and having a good time on the field.

Jets defense is playing in the top 10 of the NFL. Pats just lost their best LB.

TJ is the top rusher in the AFC. Maroney is on IR.

    I like our chances.

I disagree about the notion in effect that the Pats today are on paper still the better team. If the Jets lose, I expect we'll hear critiques of the CS, and I may even be tempted to find them plausible, as well as some other possible explanations.

But, in reality we will all know if they lose it will because of that pact with the devil Weeb made before SB III.

I just hope that pact eventually runs out, before I die. Is this the year? Is this the moment? We're about to find out.

I disagree...It's going to be an ugly game in cold, rain, and wind. But this is why we got #4. You think Favre is scared of the Pats?? You think he cares about the fact that we are 1-4 lifetime at Foxboro under the Mangini era? You think he cares that we both swap players back and forth like baseball cards?? NO! And I don't even want to hear about his INT's, and poor decisions...One of the reasons we brought in Favre is for his leadership...and I have faith that with 2mins to go, and we're down by 3, he's going to look at everyone in the huddle and say "fuk the pats...lets go score." And you know what???...There will be 10 other guys on that field who believe him.

Seymour is still healthy & will be a huge factor unless he is neutralized by the OLine

Maroney has never been a factor for the Pats. I wish people would stop saying their #1 rusher is out. The other injuries are a big deal, but I could care less about Maroney, he didn't make them any better.

1-2 at Foxboro under Mangini. We're about to be .500.

The subject of Maroney at this point is a digression, but ftr he played quite well down the stretch for them last season.

I totally agree with this. Maroney never showed much and without him, it's not a big loss. Now Adelius Thomas, that's another story.

But I'm sick and tired of people licking their chops over NE's injuries and thinking this is the ticket to beating them. It's time we started kicking their ass even if they have no injuries. In a sick way, I would have preferred Tom Brady was in the game too, so when we kick their ass it's with him under center. This way their sniveling little mackeral-snapping, panty-waisted fans don't have any excuses.

The Pats are a team filled with players who know what it takes. They are tough as nails on both sides of the line of scrimage. I'm sure the relish winning without Brady and they understand fully that this game gives the winner a path to the division a bye and a road to the SB. The loser on the other hand goes home in shock in the pack for a potential WC a guantlet of pain to a season ending crusher at some point.

This game is about will, desire, the trenches, who can keep their head and who can't. We are past the point of trying to fool people to win. If Mangini gets to cute I could see it killing us. If we keep it simple and have the will and the talent we will be okay. If it becomes a game of coaching were going to lose this game.

    Totally correct. Dominance.

We bought every dominating guy we could grab in the offseason for this one game. This game defines the purpose for having spent all that money.

All the chips are on the table.

Yes it is time for our players to make a statement & knock the Pats a$$es from one end of NE to the other. No excuses no BS just totally grind them into the ground. Totally dominant them so they have no way of making any excuses for the loss

Lets just turn this garbage into the reverse Jinx thread!

The jets suck and have no chance at winning this game anyway, I am so NOT excited to watch this game because of how bad the Jets are going to lose.
