we have no run game and culpepper couldnt even throw against their secondary grant i know pennington has had good numbers but lets be honest here last week how many of his passing yards were YAC? with coles and cotchery id say bout 100+ and pennington didnt make those passes TD's the WR's did. I still think chad is made fo glass and mcgahee is a great Rb that has bent us over in the past and screwed us. any thoughts? and if they can give brady problesm like they did, how are they not going to give pennington a problem?? i mean am i right i dont think we match up to well against them
Bills should win this game...these 2 teams ALWAYS split, usually with the home team winning. Bills 23, Jets 14
I'm confident that if the Jets play 4 full quarters to their potential they will win, and win easily. Unfortunately we haven't done that yet.
I really like Mangini..BUT, Jauron did lead The Bears to a division Title as HC with a team that never quit and pulled out many games on the last play especially on D., and that was with Jim Miller at QB. So far Mangini has one win against one of the worst teams in the league.
I'll be at the game so hopefully we win this one. This will be the third Bills game I've gone to and I have yet to see my team win. Although last time I did get to see my wife jump over the seat and pound the crap out of a fat bills fan who made the mistake of dumping beer on her. See, now that right there made the whole trip worth it.
Pictures? Video on youtube? If not, at least be sure to being your camera this time, in case there's a rematch!
Thats right. Lets go back and take all of those jerry rice yards away from montana. 10 yard slants with 50 yard after catch shouldnt count. Im sorry to say but you're , 0-1.
I can't believe people are knocking Penny because his receivers are GOOD Your analogy is on the money.
The next four games will be real tough – Buffalo always plays us tough; Miami is not a bad team this year, Jacksonville is just tough as nails and then there is the whole playing Peyton in the regular season deal. I’m not necessarily looking for wins (although I’ll be hoping for them) but some tough football. Like this weekend – they didn’t quit and for the first time in a long time actually looked pretty good at times against NE. We’re starting to have decent quarters and halves…the good teams put those decent halves together and have decent games. Sooner or later hopefully we can too.
agreed except i would say so far miami is a pretty bad team.....they got beat by charlie batch and jp losman, and their o-line and culpepper look lost most of the time
Neither of these teams can beat the other at home. It's been a seasonal split for a long time outside the Morton game obviously. You can't go in their expecting a loss, but it won't be a shocker if they do lose. Maybe Mangini can break the Ralph Wilson curse and beat down a Bills team that is always tough at home.
Thank God some sanity has returned to this forum! As GustoArmy said: REBUILDING, REBUILDING, REBUILDING!.. Lets not forget that folks. It doesn't matter if we lose to Buffalo as long as we show some improvement in a weak area. We're short on talent but long on heart. Sometimes that works out, sometimes it can't be overcome. Focus on the details people. focus on the weaknesses and hope for improvement. Starting with the Pass Rush first! Give Pennington more shots. Focus on our running game next. Keep in mind we're not a playoff contender this year but we are hopefully rebuilding a new foundation here. Patience folks. Not unrealistic expectations..
