From that bad Indy lost. There was a Lawrence Cager sighting. Two catches averaging 17.5. Now if we can get Mims some game action.

Berrios was also a success and deserves more looks.

Cager and Berrios were both pretty awesome at making the FIRST DOWN arm gesture while losing by 50 touchdowns.

Unfortunately I think both of Cager's receptions were kind of by default. He's a bit slow and stiff. He reminds me a lot of David Nelson. And no NFL fan should have seen enough of David Nelson to make a solid comparison to him.

It doesn't matter the Jets will lose every game this year .

They basically ran Cager down the Seam both times IIRC.

And a few on twitter been saying the same comparisons. Hes also been protected from being plucked (along with Guidry) so they clearly like these two guys.

If Crowder is back id like to see Berrios and Crowder use their shiftiness out there. And see if Jeff Smith can stretch the field deep with his speed.

I’m very close to being with ya on this one. Open the flood gates and force feed our young guys, To get ‘em reps and make mistakes now. Sad to say that our season is O-V-A-H but it is.

Btw, I think Cager is 6’5, and ran a fast 40+ had decent college #’s and no injury history..Am I missing something? Why was he undrafted with all that?

    Extremely Poor route running.
Didn't you see the curl route that was picked.. Very slow off the ball and a lazy curl with no effort. Bad throw but Cager deserves some blame there too

To be undrafted though, despite his measureables?

He must be a complete moron, or a rouge route runner.

How was Cager positive? He was responsible for the first Pick-6 and was the target of Sam's red zone INT. Terrible debut to me.

I'm with you play these guys. I liked Cager when the Jets signed him looked at his highlight and he has great size also 220 lbs. Yes, the season is over so now its about development and see if they have some warriors to build around.

Everyone screams bloody murder when we run quick routes short of the sticks on third and long with our weak-shit offense. But the DB's aren't camped out on the sticks by accident.

If Cager is a bad/lazy rout runner, than use him like Plexico Burress. Leave him on the bench until the ball's going into the EZ, then bring him in to box out, out jump, and snag that pigskin bitch from the deep blue sky. SCORE!!! Cager should have 10 balls thrown his way, and all 10 should be TDs!

I thought you were gonna say shoot him in his leg.
I believe that pick he gave up on was in the endzone .

I agree, Play the guys & see what you have cause next year there will be a lot of new faces on this team via the draft & free agency. I'm sure JD had that in mind when he gave out all those 1 year contracts.

Crowder was back. Meant less Berrios.

Jeff Smith looked good out there. Actually seen a bit of the field being stretched with his speed.
