if they lost, i might agree. BUT WE WON!!!!

if anything it reaffirms my love for the game. still come out on top, i dont care if its a missed field goal or anything, the refs made this one of the sloppiest, most aggravating games in a while, and despite everything, the jets came out on top. sure it took a little luck, but doesnt it always?

That took an uncharacteristic physical toll on me and I'm at home watching on my couch. I've got a headache after that 'won'. Too bad I'm not a drinker.

Nice Woodland Reserve bourbon and Ginger Ale here. Nothing like watching the Jets get lucky. It doesn't happen very often.

It's almost as if they were playing not to lose at points. But whatever, on to SF...in NY that is.

    Watching the Arizona game

Their D is playing at an elite level.
    Completely hammering the Eagles.
Remember they held the Pats to 18 pts in NE.

They have great talent but what is jumping out to me is Kerry Rhodes.
He is playing at an All-Pro level.
He just blew up Celek twice as Vick tried to get it o him first in the flat and then up the seam.

Last week he was all over Gronk, including on a crucial 2-pt conversion play.

It just occurs to me our defense has never been the same since we let him go.
Sure he was a primma donna.
But he also is an outstanding athlete and can simply blanket the TE.
When it was him and leonard back there, the D had no holes.

And we brought pressure. Ellis and Jenkins would crush the pocket and we could blitz anyone.
    Where is the pressure?

Anyone know if Maybin made it home from camp yet, because he is invisible this season. Coples is a 4-3 DE.
If we are going to draft him, then switch to a 4-3.
Otherwise we should have drafted a 3-4 OLB who can pass rush.

Tanny's time as GM is up in my book.

Wow, Rhodes is playing like Polamalu

Just saw the end of the half.
First, DeSean Jackson breaks free and gets the pass at the 1.

Only Rhodes tackles him cold forcing them to a first and goal.
Then on 3rd and 1 he blitzes from the outside, destroys Vick, forces the fumble that Arizona runds back 93 yds to score with no time left on the clock.

He is playing at a ridiculous level.
Makes me wince a bit. I realize Rex hated him.
But he is exactly what we don't have.

An athletic, free-raning S that can cover any TE and blitz.
Oh well, Landry is playing well for now.
