So one week it's the offense who stinks, then the defense stinks the next week, and now the special teams loses the game? What's gonna happen next? Why is always something overlooked
That's the sign of a shitty organization. You notice good teams find ways to win, and will compensate for let's say a bad day for the O or D. Nope, the NYJ have always found a way to fuck it up. And you wonder why Jets fans are emotional train wrecks always quick to assume the worst? Because that's what this second class organization delivers.
I really couldn't have summed it up any better. Only bad teams find ways to lose games where they clearly outplay the other team. This is why I refused to get drawn into the 3-0 hype.
That's what gets you frustred... there is always ONE thing that goes wrong! there are 4 important factors: O, D, ST and CS and maybe we do great on 3 but we fuck up one and we loose the game! God that frustrates me :S
Didn't see this thread on Page 1. Right on...I think it's Jay Feely's turn to lose a game next. Go like 1/4 on FGs, all 40 yards and under.
This just shows that none of our units are good enough to carry the others. At least for this year, the team will win or lose alongside Sanchez's development. We can still be looking at 8-5 with 3 games to go (take a look at who we play next), but we ain't making too much noise in the playoffs. If Sanchez continues to develop, and we draft well, we could be contenders next year.
I was thinking this same thing following the game. It's amazing how it's always one phase of the team that screws us and we can never seem to overcome it. I think this team is very very dangerous when all phases (including the CS) are doing well, not even great, but well. We just can't seem to put it together each week. It's been going on for far too long with this organization. We let another one get away...
One way to look at it is a definite negative. Another way is that if it's just one phase that is losing these games, or even 1 or 2 plays, that it can be put together. When this team plays a complete game on a consistent basis the league will be in trouble. Sooner or later it will happen with our NEW Jets, hopefully sooner rather then later though.
