LT with his 30th TD of the season. There's your MVP, ladies and gentlemen. I wonder if he'll reach 35?

Edit: 34 would give him over 200 points for the season. Insane.

fake punt by marty on 4th and 6 sets up the TD. that is the kind of stuff that goes by the board in the playoffs with him.

SD will soon make it 14-0 in the 1st. Looks like Herm is breaking Jets fan's hearts in KC, just like he did here.

Yes, it's interesting that the announcers were saying that "Martyball" died against Baltimore in September, conveniently forgetting that regular season performance has NEVER been the issue with Marty.

You mean today, or during the course of the remaining season?

Either way, it sure doesn't seem out of reach for him. SD's upcoming opponents are Seattle and Arizona, and neither teams are considered 'stout' against the run. LT should be able to break that, unless Marty decides to screw homefield advantage and save him for the postseason.

Please excuse my ignorance, but shouldn't we be rooting against KC as they are also fighting for a wild card spot?

That thread does a nice job of explaining why a KC win benefits the Jets.

Damn from block punt to getting called back to LT breaking a 85 yd run for a TD...

    Damn.

What an unbelievable turnaround. Chiefs don't get the ball after blocking the punt because it hits a Chiefs player past the line of scrimmage, and then LT gets an 85 yard run for yet another TD.

    and the chiefs are finished.

that rule on the blocked punt is absolutely ridiculous if it's true. you would think that KC would have to establish posession of the ball before they could fumble it back to SD.
