I just got a call from KurtTheJetsFan from training camp asking me to post this. Apparently he talked to Pouha and he said he's fine. Just passing that along.

As someone else noted before, does this mean that the "Martin is retiring" rumor is also a lot of nonsense?

Wow..this is great news for two reasons.

    1. All the glowing reports from posters..and EM...would love to see this kid take off.

    2. I was personally concerned the most for thunder. He has taken this 325lb kid under his wing this year...lol.

I hate how sure 1028 is, it scares me. Incidentally, I tried to find out if the source was CMARTFORPREZ, because, as we all know, he's the only one who knows any inside info anyway, but he remained mum. I sense someone's got their eye on a certain soon-to-be-vacated beat writer post.

Well, I was at camp today

And for what its worth, Ill admit, I DID see Pouha walking around near the end of practice

A little limp, but he didnt look all that bad

But, again, I still remain skeptical. I guess well just have to wait to see what happens

1028, have you been hanging with that kid from Jets TV??

  14. Back from camp kiddies-

and yes, for the secon day in a row I saw Pouha walking around w/ a very slight limp. Last night he was signing autographs and someone next to me asked about his injury and he said he was gonna be fine.

Good stuff. We're definately going to need him to improve this season. We need that beef in the middle.

Seeing him walking around doesnt really mean anything if he has a torn ACL. AFter that injury the problem is not walking or anytihng, its making cuts and moving laterally. So the fact that you guys saw him walking around means absoultely nothing.

Perhaps, but if he has a torn ACL and is saying that he'll be fine, then either he's an idiot or a liar.

  18. I doubt he would've been working out on the sidelines in all his training gear or telling fans he was gonna be fine if he tore his ACL. He would have already been in for surgery and trying to recooperate.
