Shotgun on 2nd down...

    I hate it!

    We're a running team, shouldn't we at least threaten the run here with PA possibilities? Most of the time we go SG on 2nd down it does not end well :(

    Gives Mark more time to see if something down-field develops or ti just throw it short.

    It's not like a trick play, pretty common formation in football.

    Too much shotgun lately but lining up in a shotgun on second down isn't exactly out of place in the NFL. Just needs to be mixed in with other formations correctly.

    The problem is too much shotgun on 3rd and 3 or less, not on 2nd down.
