Sal Paolantonio is not happy with the Patriots on Mike and Mike. The tapes clearly show that the Pats were cheating, and they knew they were cheating, which is contrary to what BB said. On one hand, I want this to go away because it's been pretty stagnant for a while. On the other hand, Goodell wants this to go away as soon as possible, so if Specter wants to keep this in the news and further tarnish the Pats' legacy, I'll have no problem.
Anti trust violations of a multi billion dollar industry is exactly what the Senate should be investigating...

I wouldn't backtrack at all. The Jets' success in 2006 would be a fraud if they cheated during that season. I have no problem admitting that. I certainly wouldn't ultra-rationalize every single bad thing the Jets did like Pats fans do on a daily basis.
Oh brother it's a fucking football game. Quit making this out to be bigger than it is. They cheated, they got caught, other teams now know what will happen and that's it. I think some Jet fans just don't want to let this go because it's the Patriots and I know I'll get flamed for saying that but I don't care. I'm so tired with how the media wants this to be a story so badly and yet there is nothing else to investigate.
Sen. Arlen Specter said former Patriots video assistant Matt Walsh indicated he saw the Jets taping signals at one point during a Jets-Patriots game, but Walsh did not say anything about it at the time. Specter also thinks the NFL hasn't done enough to investigate the Patriots' taping practices in 2003, 2004 and 2005, even though Walsh told him he observed the Patriots taping signals from the stands after Walsh had left the organization as an employee. It's pretty vague, but I would imagine it was when Walsh was at the Patriots ..
Considering Walsh was long gone before Mangini got here,2006 means we probably didn't cheat. I wouldn't be that surprised if we cheated under herm,considering he waved at the patriots camera he probably thinks stealing signals is not a big deal.

Unfortunately for the investigation, all of the tapes Herm made were completely blanked out because of timecode errors.
Quit trying to make it smaller than it is, it's a multi-billion dollar business, and this all amounts to corporate espionage and monopolization. The fact that you think it's 'just a football game' speaks volumes on your understanding of the situation.
