Wow, I didn't know about the 2 players on IR. The one thing I'll say for the Patriots though - they always find a way. They always manage to have decent depth at most positions. The 2 guys they can't afford to lose though are Wilfork and Brady.

    More to add...

Plus Moss is going to bitch and moan and sit plays out. Pats won't win more than 9 games.

really looking forwards to the Cin / NE game....if the Pats D cant stop the Bengals run game...The Jets should be able to walk all over the Pats and control the clock

Also looking forward to that game. I'm curious to see how the Pats Oline handles the Bengals' base D and blitzes. Cin's got a pretty good D; good young corners, decent LBs, a mawler on the Dline. If they get consistent pressure, we shouldn't have trouble.

I just don't see that. He's playing for his last NFL contract. BTW, he always sits a few plays out.

yeah contract years = successful season. Especially a guy like Moss.

Is Logan ready to sit a couple of games, or is there an 11th hr deal?

Healthy or not, the Pats schedule is brutal. That might be their worst enemy. In my opinion, there are only about 5 games that should be expected wins. The rest are tough. Where the Jets play the Texans and Broncos, the Pats get the Colts and Chargers.

If he comes in at all it will be just for the last 6 games, to get his year....

but I think he's going to sit it out, and hope the new cba makes him a ufa. The gamble is if they on't play next year two years off might just do him in.

I hope I'm wrong and he signs for 1 year at good money...

Randy Moss will have a good season. He knows he's playing for his last payday and the things that he used to never do (like go over the middle for a slant on 3rd & 5, or catch a WR screen to make DBs cheat up and be more vulnerable to 9 routes) will probably show up in his game a lot more than usual.

This means he'll actually do them, in the past he would pretend it was a running play and not block his man.

I think Moss has a good year and I believe Brady is going to target him. I don't think Welker can be the safety valve Brady is used to and I can see him forcing more passes to Moss because of this.
