I admire their tenacity, but am I the only one who thinks they have been very lucky and just aren't that good? They're 4-2, but should be 2-4. It seems the superior teams can't take them serious enough to put a full game together. The Patriots absolutely 100% beat themselves on Sunday, and the Packers didn't take them serious until it was too late (with some help from the ref's). They're 4-2. I'll be shocked if they finish 8-8, and probably 7-9 or lower. They have to be taken seriously, but 6-10 is even possible. Buffalo and the Rams are the only teams I would be certain they'll beat, with Arizona a maybe.
I think they're a pretty good team and Wilson is going to be a good QB in this league. The Jets are going to have a really tough game when they travel out there.
I don't think they are a great team by any means but I don't think they are all that bad. Playoff team potential for sure. That was the first game I really watched closely, saw a bit of the Packers game and the infamous winning interception, and I thought Wilson was pretty good. He still made some rookie mistakes but I think he has a pretty good arm and made a few good plays on the run, across his body, etc. Plus Lynch can be a gamebreaker on his own from time to time. I think we can beat them but I don't think it will be an easy W.
If Russell Wilson can do what he did yesterday against better secondaries than the Patriots', the Seahawks will be a handful for anyone they play. They have a productive back (though he was shut down yesterday) and play some great defense, especially at home. I don't think Wilson will be as good as he was yesterday though, and unfortunately for Seattle they play SF on Thursday after a quick-turnaround following this one. It could be a short-lived celebration unless they keep the momentum going. So much for the NFC West being a cake-walk though. Even the Rams aren't really a doormat team this season.
Their defense is really good. They beat the Packers and Patriots, 2 of the best QBs in the league right there. Seattle isn't going to be anything special on offense yet, but they have a good future.
Let me backtrack just a little. I like Wilson and did in college. His style of play and personality. As I mentioned, I like the Seahawks tenacity. But now teams are aware of them. Still, I'm surprised if they finish above 7-9.
^this, except with a front 4 that can get to the QB without exotic blitzes. They have the potential to be scary good right now if thier QB can mature as the season grows longer.
