I don't even want to hear anyone try to defend this. That was a pathetic display. I've seen crowds twice that size in the meadowlands for meaningless MLS games.

How do you expect any player to want to play for the jets if no one comes and watches? How do you spend money on a ticket, then leave halfway through the game? There are no excuses. This is self-inflicted, and your making the jets look like florida marlins: a laughing stock team with no fan base.

I had tickets, I couldn't find anyone who had any interest to go with me. Furthermore I've been commuting from Long Island to Parsippany every day so the idea of sitting in traffic for another day was the last thing in the world I needed. I would have gone if someone was interested but no one was interested.

    Pay him lotsa monies.

By being flat out disgusted with the product on the field, much like how you can stop eating a horrible meal after paying for it.

What is self-inflicted? That the team is 3-10? That the offense sucks? That the defense can't tackle a RB for under 5 yards on an obvious running play when the game is on the line? That the coach has shit for brains? Yeah, we fans really brought it upon ourselves, didn't we.

I didn't go to the game, but I wouldn't blame any of the fans there for leaving early. This team is already painful enough to watch on TV...I can't imagine wasting a day out in the cold and suffering through this.

Thats a pretty general statement. I sat in the rain all day today with a dedicated half of section 323 to support my 3 win Jets until the last rediculous onsides kick. The last thing I need to do is to come home from misery like that and read a post like this from some freaking loser who goes to meaningless MLS games and probably enjoys them. Get a life.

I have had season tickets for 28 years and I did not go today. I had a conflict in the early afternoon and couldn't make it to the game. I tried, but I couldn't give my tickets away. If the Jets were 10-3 and not 3-10, I might have chosen the Jets over the conflict I had. But with them at 3-10 and a prediction of rain, I chose the other event over watching this horrible, boring team in the cold rain. Maybe the empty seats will give management a clue that this team is at a crossroads and if they want to be successful in the new stadium and sell PSLs, they better improve the product.

There are plenty of tickets available online.... If it's so indefensible to not show up to a game, how come so few of those who complain about it actually go to the games?

I didn't get this game this year (I share season tickets with 2 relatives and we each get 3-4 games a year) but, the way I see it, if you're not there supporting your team, you have no right to complain

im normally in agreeance but this team is such a freakin joke i wouldnt have wanted to sit in the freezing rain either. the jets give their fans nothing to cheer about. quite honestly, i couldnt give two shits about the rest of this season, and most jets fans would probably agree with me.

I'll probably take you up on that.

  11. I love the jets more than anything in the world to the point where my yearly vacation is spent in the blistering heat of TC...and even I wouldnt want to sit in the pouring rain watching this joke of a team.

Its four o'clock game, the weather is miserable, the team is miserable. You have to drive home in the rain. Why subject yourself to that and its there money if they want to eat the ticket that suffer in person its their business.
If the team wants people to come out, play some good football.

Well i for one decided to stay home today. I tried my best to goto to this game but i couldnt find a sucker to go with me. And i dont blame them. Who in their right mind would want to sit in the freezing rain and watch this pathetic team. No offense to my fellow season ticket holders who attended the game im gald that some of you made it, but for anyone who thinks i should be ashamed to be a season ticket holder for not going today can suck my ass! Only reason ill be attending the final game is cause i got a cuz coming from overseas and he doesnt know any better.

I chose to stay home to go to my daughter's Christmas pageant rehearsal.

I tried to sell our tickets, but no Jets fans were interested.

By the by, I hear there were lots of tickets available Booger, did you head out to the Meadowlands?

As soon as he got the first down, the Brown's could have ended it on kneel downs. It was the right decision to let him score (even though we weren't trying to do that >__>)

Why use the CFL as your example? It's good football....maybe say NFL EUrope, or arena football.

And man, did you break your shift key when you typed that post or what?
