That's twice that the Patriots said they were going to Connecticut only to leave people disappointed. Cunts.
I hate to rain on the Pats hate parade, but I don't see why they are at fault. Random school signs up for a program through the NFL, and NFL promises them "celebrity coaches." Random school assumes this means Tom Brady is going to come and hang out with their snot nosed kids, when this was never actually promised. Then they complain. If Brady and Belichek promised to be there and didn't show, fine, rip them. But if the NFL has a crappy program that implies NFL stars and provides interns, blame the NFL and their shit charity, not the Patriots organization themselves.
Afraid not. Here is the official description on the NFL web site of the Play 60 visits to schools (bold face added): At http://www.nflrush.com/play60/ (the official Play 60 web site) they have three videos of Play 60 visits to the community. In all three there are multiple NFL players. I usually don't pay any attention to the charges of classlessness about pro teams, but sending an intern to this event was a POS move, and that's all there is to it.
To be honest, I don't think the decision would be made by the coach. He probably didn't even know about it.
The interns in the Patriots video program don't have as much work as they used to. Good to see them getting something to do.
I think this is actually a good thing for these kids. They live in CT, so they could either route for NY or MA teams. This disapointment should help them stear them away from the dark side. Thanks Billy.
Good, good... let the hate flow through you... (Something-something-something) jedi... (Something-something-something) com-plete.
