This year has been tough.....for all of us. With Mawae leaving now, it's just one more fan favorite we are now saying goodbye to. I know this is in the best intrest of the Jets organization, but danm we have lost a lot of kelly green bleeding guys.

It's quite clear. Hehehe. Buh-bye, Kevin Mawae. You'll be missed.

This sucks, last month the Jets had a blowout sale at hofstra and when i met Kevin he was so enthusiastic. He said he was training hard and that last year would never happen again. He truely embraced what it was to be a jet and loved the fans. Sad 2 c him go

these threads are just depressing, remember when mawae had that club and just kept nailing someone over the head with it and kept getting warned, great player

Yup, The people who are bashing him telling him not to let the door hit him in the ass seem to forget how much he did for this franchise.

I remember when ESPN recored Mawae against the Chiefs, and then played the tapes. My football coach in highschool use to tell our linemen that Mawae was the man and you could learn a lot just listening to him.

I'll definately miss Mawae-he seemed like a great guy and did loads for this franchise. However, I do believe it is time to say goodbye. With any luck we need to try and grab Nick Mangold in the draft.
