So what? They were 14-2 last year and didn't really lose anybody of importance.

 

He probably is just looking at the fatasses on both teams. NE has bigger lardo's on the DL then the Jets. He probably is making his statement off this.

 

I saw the clip online.. I didn't see him actually make a pick though.. he just praised both the Jets and Pats from what I saw. Also talked about what makes Rex so great.

And honestly, can't really blame him for going with the team with Brady that went 14-2 last year. Until the Jets knock them off and win the division, the Pats will be the favorites, as much as it sucks.

 

And Teddy Bruschi has always sang praise about the Jets, when they become analysts they have to forget their colours and try to be objective. Chill out.

 

Well they have been fairly consistent in winning it the past 10 years or so. At this point I know the Jets can win on the road or at home in the playoffs, I'm more concerned about getting over the AFCCG hump than regular season standings.

Until we win the Division consistently, I don't see anything wrong with what he said. It was sweet beating them in the Playoffs last season, but we need to win the Division first and foremost.
