I've just seen Mosley get beat and make mistakes so many times this year I'm shocked he's a pro bowler

How in the fuck did Berrios make it as an alternate? Reed absolutely got snubbed.

Isn't the Pro Bowl a popularity contest among fans? I hold All Po selections in higher regard.

Sauce Gardner becomes the first Jets rookie to make the Pro Bowl since Erik McMillan in 1988.

I'll never figure out why Erik McMillan crashed and burned after such a stellar start. Oh, and thanks for the kiss of death. o_O

That off sides vs Buffalo. Slowly I turned, step by step, inch by inch . . .

Didn't they turn this thing into a flag football game and skills competition?

    Congrats none the less

Mosley is stud he absolutely belongs, Ignorant nonsense cause hes off side one play. He’s very good. Rest all deserved. Berrios alternate is ridiculous and no it wasn’t the fan vote. He was 10th in the fan vote, he moved way up from the player and coaches vote. Reed obviously belongs.

Fans only have one-third voting power, but still, you are correct in thinking All-Pro is more selective and therefore more prestigious.

"A minimum of twice as many Pro Bowlers are selected as first and second team All-Pro slots combined."

imho, Erik "The Mlikman" McMillan did not crash and burn. I was his number one nut-hugger back in the day, but I think a more rational explanation is that he was never actually good. He just happened to be in the right place at the right time a lot in his first two years. Then he got solved and exploited. He got statistically worse literally every year without being seriously hurt.

Ah yes, the Jets 1988 draft - interesting one at that. The Jet braintrust hit on their two 3rd round picks (Erik McMillian/James Hasty) after screwing the pooch by drafting OG Dave Cadigan in the 1st round after passing on HOF OG Randall McDaniel (and Michael Irvin). In the 2nd round the Jets drafted the immortal Terry Williams (who?) after passing on Thurman Thomas and HOF center Dermontti Dawson.

So, they could've either had 2 HOF offensive lineman or, a skill position pairing of Thurman Thomas and Michael Irvin. Yes teams pass on what turn out to be great pros but in this case the Jets passed on two very well known college stars from Okla State and Miami for two stiffs one of which was from Bethune-Cookman.

The Berrios hate on this forum is a little ridiculous.
Did the Jets pay a little too much for him this year, yes but that is water under the bridge. He was a valuable asset to the team in 2021.
Should he have caught the pass in the end zone, yes, but in his time here he has been one of the more sure handed receivers we’ve had that end drop was more of an aberration. Conklin, Mims, Davis at times look like the ball is a hot potato.
Did he have a terrible game on special teams last week, yes - but the fact is that he was a First Team All Pro last season, the Jets list on that front is not super long in career history and is still a very good punt returner despite what most of the ignorant fans here think.

Will he be gone next year, maybe but I wouldn’t count on it.
The fact that people want to cut guys with 3 or 4 games left in the season is pretty comical.

I will. I just have a touch of agita that the Jets are having a December implosion. Not that that's new to any of us no matter the year, ha. Alright, I lied. I actually have a whole burning through my esophagus.
