Haven't seen this anywhere but rotoworld is officially reporting we will interview Rex Ryan tomorrow in baltimore
That's Correct.......Baltimore did give the Jet's permission to interiew Ryan this Sunday, even if the Ravens won. I believe the Ravens are going to the SuperBowl, so we may have to wait till FEB. for Rex.
Whatever it takes to bring in a defensive mastermind w/attitude for a HC? Please God, let it happen. TannyWood had better put their best foot forward since as it is, this franchise is totally lacking in both appeal and credibility.
We have a pretty good defensive unit, with players good enough to start working with, sometimes people forget that we're not actually the Lions or the Texans
Yep... Great news. Here it is on NFL.com, which is always accurate with this kind of information. http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d80e053d8&template=with-video-with-comments&confirm=true
please god please god also I hope the Jets stay classy by waiting till after the Ravens season to offer him a job dont do it in the middle of the playoffs wait till its all over
He blitzes, blitzes, and blitzes some more. I love it. Maybe his blitzes will actually have our blitzers AVOID the guard or fullback.
This is a really bad argument, made worse by the fact that Harbaugh has led the Ravens to the AFC Title Game. Maybe they liked both but thought there was something special about Harbaugh. Maybe Ravens fans, like us, did not want to see someone from an unsuccessful coaching staff get promoted to coach, no matter how good the assistant actually was (Unlike in this case, where Schott has been terrible). There could have been a lot of reasons, and none of them may not be anything bad relating to Ryan.
though he was an absolutely awful head coach when he got his chance. and i don't think he was ever even discussed as a candidate for the job tomlin got.
